    摘要: The control device includes: a unit for receiving, for a time period, phase voltage setpoints forming a setpoint vector in vector space; a unit for selecting at least N+1 states of the inverter which are associated, respectively, with at least N+1 predetermined vectors (M1 . . . M27) defining a volume in the vector space (Esp) containing the setpoint vector; a unit for controlling the inverter, over the time period, in order to place it successively in the selected states so that it substantially applies, on average over the time period, the phase voltage setpoints. The at least N+1 states of the inverter are selected from among groups of at least N+1 states of the inverter, the at least N+1 states of the inverter of at least one of the groups being associated, respectively, with at least N+1 predetermined vectors (M1 . . . M27), at least N of which are formed by predetermined zero-sum phase voltages and at least one of which is formed by predetermined nonzero-sum phase voltages.

    摘要: A method of controlling a motor, for example of an electric power steering system, includes receiving a motor torque demand signal indicative of a torque required from the motor. A current demand signal indicative of the currents to be applied to each phase to meet the torque demand is generated from the motor torque demand signal. One or more operational values from the motor are determined. The current demand signal is set as a function of one or more parameters of the motor obtained by fitting a flux linkage model to the measured operational values. A motor circuit having the permanent magnet electric motor includes a control stage arranged to generate the current demand signal in response to a torque demanded of the motor. A modifying means modifies the magnitude and/or the phase of the current demanded for each phase of the motor by the controller.

    摘要: A rotary electric machine is equipped with a stator and a rotor. The rotor has a d-axis magnetic circuit that is produced by a magnetomotive force of a field winding, and magnet magnetic circuits that are produced by a magnetic force of permanent magnets. The d-axis magnetic circuit and a q-axis magnetic circuit have at least a part thereof that is common to both. The permeance of the d-axis magnetic circuit is smaller than the permeance of the q-axis magnetic circuit, when a load is being applied to the rotor. A control apparatus of the rotary electric machine has a switching circuit that controls the field current in the field winding, and a control section that makes the switching frequency of the switching circuit become higher when the field current is above a threshold value than when the field current is less than or equal to the threshold value.

    摘要: A brushless, self-excited synchronous field winding machine is presented. The AC stator is configured with four or more phases to produce independent magnetic fields at different spatial harmonics. Windings in the rotor are configured to magnetically couple to the different spatial harmonics produced by the AC stator. More specifically, an oscillating field generated by the stator magnetically couples to the excitation winding on the rotor. This induces an AC voltage which results in current flowing through the field winding of the rotor. The magnitude of the field current is therefore controlled by the magnitude of the oscillating field. The AC stator also produces a magnetic field at a different spatial harmonic which magnetically couples to field winding of the rotor. This component will interact with the field current to produce torque. With this approach, the power density of the electric machine is significantly increased as compared to conventional field winding designs.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for controlling an ac motor supplied by an inverter having several switches. In order that the torque can be adjusted to be as desired as rapidly as possible both with maximum voltage and in the vicinity thereof, one proceeds in accordance with the invention in such a way that a value (.DELTA..gamma.) representing the difference between the reference value and actual value of the angle between the stator flux and rotor flux of the motor is determined on the basis of a value representing the requirement for torque change of the motor, e.g. by means of the difference (.DELTA.T) between the reference valve (T*) and actual valve (T) of the torque, and a quantity representing the magnetic state of the motor, the next switching moment of the switches of the inverter, i.e. the so called limit between flux sectors (.DELTA..phi.), is shifted with a first quantity (k.sub.1 .DELTA..gamma.) proportional to the determined differential value to change the angle (.gamma.) between the stator flux and the rotor flux, i.e. the torque of the motor, in a stepwise manner to be as desired, and that switching moment of the switches of the inverter which is next in turn is shifted with second quantity (k.sub.2 .DELTA..gamma.) proportional to the determined differential value and reverse to the first quantity (k.sub.1 .DELTA..gamma.) to change the rotating speed of the stator flux.
