摘要： A holder pivotally supported on a chassis for supporting a cartridge which is provided with a shutter biased by a spring in a closing direction. A slide member mounted on the holder is reciprocatingly movable between a first position where an opening piece pushes the shutter open with the loading of the cartridge into the holder and a second position where the latch engages the cartridge after moving from the first position toward the cartridge loading direction. A release mechanism is disposed between the chassis and the holder for disengaging the latch from the cartridge when the cartridge is unloaded from the holder. The cartridge as disengaged and in contact with the opening piece is moved by the spring in the unloading direction.

In particular, an adjustment mechanism is provided on the pivotable chassis for adjusting a positional relationship between the optical pickup and the turntable by moving one end of t he elongated guide shaft in a plane which is generally parallel with a recording surface of the optical disc.

摘要： A disk driving apparatus provided by the present invention comprises: a motor; a turntable mounted on the rotational shaft of the motor, the turntable used for mounting and driving into rotation a multi-disk set comprising a plurality of disk plates stuck to each other; and a disk holding mechanism comprising a fixed portion with such a height that only a particular one of the disk plates of the multi-disk set to be mounted on the turntable is brought in contact with the fixed portion, and a movable portion capable of moving in the radial direction of the turntable in contact with the particular disk plate. As a result, even a multi-disk set can be centered at the center of the turntable with a high degree of accuracy by means of a centering mechanism having a simple configuration which can be implemented at a low cost.

摘要： A cartridge has a shutter movable forward and rearward for exposing or alternatively enclosing a disk contained in a shell. The shell is inserted into a device provided with a tooth for opening the shutter and a spring piece fittable to the shutter and positioned at a level different from that of the tooth. The shell has a slit formed in a side face thereof in the vicinity of the shutter for permitting the tooth to advance thereinto. The shell has a corner in the vicinity of the slit and providing a contact face. The slit is provided at a front end portion thereof with a guide groove positioned in the contact face and enlarging toward the front. The contact face is in the form of a circular arc or slope and so shaped that the path of movement thereof intersects the inner end of the tooth at a location B which is positioned forwardly of a position A where the path of movement intersects the spring piece.

A vertical panel, extending upwardly from a rear region of the open bin, provides display of sales literature or display of product, e.g. one of the packaged CDs, and provides a hanger for the headphone set. The display rack can be made integral or can be assembled from two or more component portions that can be separated and that can nest together for convenient storage, transportation or shipping. A two-portion version can be fabricated from an identical pair of readily available molded plastic container bins.

摘要： A disk apparatus has a slider cam, disk tray, and reproducing assembly. The slider cam has a cam groove. The slider cam moves between a first position and a second position, to retract a disk tray into the apparatus and extend from the apparatus, respectively. The reproducing assembly has a cam follower guided in the cam groove to move between a reproducing position and a non-reproducing position. The cam groove has first, second, and third grooves. The third groove connects the first and second grooves together. The first groove has a groove wall that extends substantially perpendicularly to the axis. The cam follower moves along the first groove to collide against the wall when a shock is given to the apparatus during transportation, thereby preventing the disk tray from popping out of the apparatus inadvertently.

摘要： In a signal recording or reproduction device for disks, release means for disengaging a lock slide from a holder when the holder is pivotally moved upward from a lowered position has a release piece slanting with respect to a plane containing a path of pivotal movement of the holder, attached at a base end thereof to a chassis and deformable by deflecting outward. The release piece extends from its base end along cartridge inserting and unloading directions. The release piece escapes from the lock slide by being deflected outward for deformation by contact with the lock slide when the slide is moved with the descent of the holder, and restores itself elastically upon passage of the lock slide. The lock slide as brought into contact with the lower end of the release piece when the holder is pivotally raised from the lowered position is disengaged from the holder by being so deflected for deformation.
