    Abstract: A damper that is mounted to a printed circuit board of an automobile's climate control system includes a tactile feel and torque control mechanism for the user as the user controls the temperature and climate within the interior of an automobile. The damper incorporates a plurality of detents that engage with a plurality of ribs or similar protrusions for providing the desired tactile feel and torque control in the control knob of the climate control system. The printed circuit board used with the automobile's climate control system has an integrated polymer thick film (PTF) circuit that replaces the traditional circuit board technology, thereby eliminating the need for separately mounted potentiometers and resistors as those items can be printed onto the polymer circuit. The printed circuit board is less expensive to manufacture over existing circuit board technology, is easier to assemble, results in fewer parts, and is environmentally friendly as no soldering of components is required. In addition, the invention is impervious to cleaning processes and solutions and is more durable over other known systems and technologies.

    Abstract: A biorhythm scale adapted to secure its operation and capable of directly observing the periodic day and the half-periodic day a physical, sensitive and intellectual rhythm for the individual or individuals in an accurate manner. The biorhythm calculator includes a guide interiorly of which a resilient non-slip element is firmly mounted not only to provide no slippage between vernier scales but also to eliminate an error in reading, and is comprised of a physical rhythm (P) scale, a sensitive rhythm (S) scale, an intellectual rhythm (I) scale, a day scale, and a month scale each of which is provided with racks at least one side thereof. Each of the vernier scales is slid over a fixed date scale indicative of the number of days in a month while in engagement of the racks with the non-slip element to thereby read out the biorhythm in the period as desired.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a circular slide rule which is particularly adapted for facilitating the learning process of addition and/or subtraction by primary grade students. The slide rule includes a bottom disc, a top disc, and a problem indicator, all coaxially mounted for relative rotation. The problem indicator, in a preferred embodiment, defines a window which is adapted to display only a single number from a scale on the bottom disc and a single number from the scale on the top disc. The algebraic sum of the two numbers displayed in the window of the indicator is read off on one of the scales as being the number opposite to an answer mark on the other scale.

    Abstract: The New Trigonometer is a device used to compute the trigonometric sine, cosine and tangent of angles. Consequently, the device could also be used to calculate the reciprocal sine, cosine, and tangent functions. The device constitutes of a protractor and a graduated ruler attached thereof.
