    摘要: A temperature detector is used to detect a temperature of a circuit under test, and includes a temperature coefficient component, a multiplier, an impedance component and a node. The temperature coefficient component is arranged in proximity to the circuit under test. A control terminal of the multiplier is coupled to a second terminal of the temperature coefficient component. The impedance component is coupled between the second terminal of the temperature coefficient component and the control terminal of the multiplier, or between a second terminal of the multiplier and a third voltage terminal. The node is formed between the second terminal of the temperature coefficient component and the control terminal of the multiplier. A voltage at the node and an amplified detection current flowing to a first terminal of the multiplier are positively correlated to the temperature of the circuit under test.

    摘要: An electronic thermometer includes a temperature sensing means for sensing a temperature of a part to be measured, a prediction means fro predicting an equilibrium temperature by using the temperature being sensed, and a temperature display means having a temperature display unit. The temperature display means switches the display of the temperature display unit from the predicted temperature predicted by the prediction means to the actual measured temperature sensed by the temperature sensing means, based on a variation state of a peak of the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing means. Accordingly, a variation in displayed temperature is reduced, when the display switching is performed from the predicted temperature to the actual measured temperature, and a determination of the display switching from the predicted temperature to the actual measured temperature can be achieved by a simple circuit.

    摘要: An RTD system includes multiple pluralities of RTDs and RTD bank assembly to which each plurality of RTDs are connected. Each RTD bank assembly includes a current source for the RTDs connected thereto, a multiplexer switching system for switching the current source successively between the RTDs, and a measurement function for measuring the voltage drop across the RTDs produced by the current source. The system includes a circuit for determining resistance of the RTD from the current applied thereto and the voltage drop there across. The system further includes a plurality of low pass filters associated, respectively, with each RTD, wherein the low pass filters are charged before the voltage measurement is made. The system includes a precharging arrangement where the low pass filter associated with the next RTD in a voltage sampling sequence is precharged, so that the delay between sampling of the voltage from the low pass filters associated with successive RTDs is significantly reduced. The system further includes low pass filters associated with calibration resistors which permit sampling of voltage values from the RTDs prior to the low pass filters associated therewith being fully charged, without error which would otherwise occur.

    摘要: A circuit for correcting a non-linear output of an electronic temperature sensor due to a non-linear drift over an operating range of temperature. The circuit includes a first circuit portion for adjusting a bias voltage of the sensor to a select initial voltage. The circuit also includes second circuit portion interfacing with the first circuit portion. The second circuit portion comprises at least one electronic element with a non-linear drift over the operating range of temperature, but in a direction opposite that of the drift of the temperature sensor. Thus, the drift of the electronic element alters the bias voltage over the operating range in a manner that compensates (at least partially) for the non-linear drift of the temperature sensor.

At least one guide eye connected with the float body is constructed and arranged to receive an elongated guide member to restrict movement of the body to generally vertical movement. The guide eye is disposed on the body at a position between the first attachment and the second attachment so that when the body floats on a liquid in the first orientation the guide eye is submerged in the liquid, and when the body floats on a liquid in a second orientation, the guide eye is disposed above the liquid.

    摘要: A resistor temperature device (RTD) trip unit is described. The RTD monitors thermal conditions at an industrial process location, such as in a nuclear reactor. Resistance of the RTD varies in accordance with temperature at the monitored process location. An amplifier circuit produces an output signal, corresponding to the variations in RTD resistance, which signal operates a plurality of relay circuits. The relay circuits variously report process conditions such as failure, the obtaining of a preselected level, etc. Additionally, metering provides a continuous analog indication of thermal conditions at the monitored process locations. To correct for non-linearity inherent in the RTD resistance slope, a recursive feedback path is coupled between the RTD amplifier stage and an RTD current source, such that a decreasing resistance slope produces a complementary increase in current supply to the RTD. The result is a linear output signal from the RTD amplifier.

A circuit means for continuously monitoring this ratio of voltages with a counter in recurring cycles for digital display is incorporated with the linearized bridge circuit of this invention in a particular embodiment thereof.
