    摘要: In a cartridge feeding device for a repeating rifle, a magazine well is provided in the breech casing in front of the rear barrel end underneath the rear end. Toward the rear, a guide housing is arranged behind the magazine well, this housing has an opening at the top in a zone behind a breech head of the rifle and, in a rearward half of this opening, two mutually opposed holding lips, the mutual spacing (a) of the latter being somewhat smaller than the case diameter of the cartridge. A loading plate is pivotably mounted in the guide housing, this plate being pivotable upwardly under spring action. The magazine box exhibits at the top an opening extending over its entire length and, in the region of this opening, two mutually opposed magazine lips. A slide is provided which is connected with the displaceable guide strips of the breech mechanism and extends transversely to the barrel axis (A); this slide is arranged at the level of the uppermost cartridge, and is located, in the locking position of the breech mechanism, in front of the projectile tip of the uppermost cartridge, and contacts, upon a backward movement of the breech mechanism, the projectile tip of the uppermost cartridge, pushing the latter rearwardly out of the magazine box into the guide housing.

    摘要: A cartridge/carrier locking device is used for an automatic gun loading arrangement of a type for removing a cartridge from a magazine onto a carrier by releasing it from a locked state for firing and for pushing it up into a barrel chamber by an upward sway of the carrier which takes place in response to the forward stroke of a breech block. A latch plate which is provided with a first claw part at its forward end for locking the cartridge and a second claw part at its rear end for locking the carrier, is pivotally attached to an inner wall of a receiver containing the automatic gun loading arrangement. The first and second claw parts serve, respectively, to lock the cartridge and the carrier as the claw parts alternately protrude into the inside of the receiver in a swaying fashion. A spring is arranged to push the second claw part of the latch plate to the inside of the receiver. A locking part is also arranged at the rear end of the latch plate and engages with the breech block, the carrier and the cartridge to restrict the swaying motion of the second claw part into the inside of the receiver so that the engagement is released allowing the second claw part to act and to release the first claw part from its action only when a retracting stroke of the breech block comes to exceed to preset value after the gun is fired.

    摘要: A rifle has a cartridge-elevating mechanism located within a housing which is detachable from the rifle. The cartridge elevating mechanism may be a lifter mechanism for receiving cartridges from a tubular magazine and elevating them into the path of a sliding bolt for eventual movement into the firing chamber. Such a lifter mechanism and its housing may be interchangeable with a box magazine type of cartridge elevating mechanism. The housing of either type of cartridge elevating mechanism is biased rearwardly into firm engagement with a stationary abutment surface so as to position the cartridge elevating mechanism. Flat action bars are connected to the bolt and have their forward ends pivotally connected to an axially-slidable member. The lower edges of the action bars are provided with downwardlyopen cutaway portions which provide cam surfaces for operating the lifter mechanism. On the upper edge of the action bars, there is a forwardly-facing inclined abutment surface which is engagable with a latch means having a corresponding rearwardlyfacing surface to hold the action bars and the bolt in a rearward breech-open position.

    摘要: A rifle for use in either full automatic or semiautomatic mode in which a cam system is reciprocated in a direction parallel to the rifle axis either manually or by a gas driven system. The cam system cocks the firing hammer and vertically reciprocates a rifle breech block containing the firing chamber. In the uppermost position, the firing chamber is aligned with a firing pin, which detonates the primer charge in a cartridge, actuated by the hammer when a sear is released by the rifle trigger. When the breech block is in a lowered position the firing chamber is aligned with apertures in a magazine through which a rammer is driven by the cam system for movement of cartridges into the chamber. A spring-biased gate closes the rear end of the firing chamber when the block is in the lowered position, but opens to allow ejection of a round which has not been fired when the next cartridge is driven into or an ejector tube is driven through, the chamber.

    摘要: A firearm especially for firing large calibre rounds such as rubber bullets and having a rotary magazine which is rechargeable at any stage of depletion. A loading arm serves to guide rounds through an inlet opening in the magazine, in such a way that they are received into corresponding locations in a rotating carrier, and the carrier rotates forward one position with each additional round. Until the penultimate round, the guide means is locked to the magazine body. In this position, it obstructs further movement of the first-inserted round and thus prevents insertion of the final round. Mechanism is described by which, on insertion of the final round the guide means automatically unlocks from the magazine body and locks to the rotating carrier. In this condition it serves to keep the first inserted round locked in the magazine as it completes a full rotation to come opposite the inlet opening once more. Mechanism for firing automatic indexing the carrier, and automatic extraction and ejection of spent cartridges is described.

The shell stop lever blocks the following shell from moving onto the shell carrier and releases the shell carrier for transferring the shell to chambering position. The shell stop lever shifts laterally to permit shells to be loaded past the carrier into the magazine from the feeding end.
