摘要: Applicant has disclosed an improved trigger assembly for firearms, and a related method, to avoid premature firing after an unintentional trigger rotation, especially where light trigger pulls have previously been set. In the preferred embodiment, Applicant's trigger assembly has two triggers: a slotted primary trigger and a secondary trigger which can pivot into the slot. During an intentional trigger pull, the shooter's finger initially pushes against the secondary trigger until it pivots and nestles within the primary trigger's slot. Continued pulling on both the secondary and primary triggers causes a hammer to rotate off a sear, thereby allowing the firearm to discharge. In an unintentional trigger rotation, where the secondary trigger is not pulled back enough to nestle within the primary trigger's slot: an upper portion of the secondary trigger (unseen within the housing) constrains a protrusion on a spring-biased mainspring guide. This blocks movement of the mainspring guide and prevents the hammer from rotating sufficiently for discharge.

摘要: The hammer of a gun has a channel in its front face, making direct contact between the hammer and the gun's firing pin impossible. The tip of a transfer bar retained within the channel moves to fill the channel and thus permit firing of the gun, only when the trigger is pulled. 摘要: A four-barrelled pistol is disclosed which comprises a hammer having a rotating, click-action head for successively acting on firing pins corresponding to the four barrels. Particularly, a tripping mechanism is disclosed which controls the hammer of the pistol to allow either a single-action or double action operation. 摘要: A trigger assembly group for use in firearms is disclosed. The trigger assembly group comprises a primary trigger connected to a secondary trigger that is arranged and configured to reduce the incidence of accidental discharge caused by inadvertently rearwardly actuating a primary trigger. 摘要: A gun lock of a firearm having two hammers movably disposed on a lock support, a trigger bar for each hammer for holding or releasing the hammers, a trigger, and a disconnector for the trigger, by which disconnector the trigger bars can be moved by the trigger from a holding position into a release position. The disconnector can be moved by an inertial mass between a triggering position, in which the trigger is connected to one of the two trigger bars, and a disconnect position, in which the connection between the trigger and the trigger bars is interrupted. The inertial mass is a pendulum mass swiveling about a transverse axis between a starting position and a safe position, by which the disconnector, upon the release of a first hammer, can be swiveled in a direction opposite to the direction of the pendulum mass into the disconnect position.

摘要: A safety mechanism for use with a firearm having a hammer wherein the hammer has an elongated, vertically extending recess formed therein, a transfer bar traveling within that elongated recess between an extended position and a retracted position. When the transfer bar is in the extended position, the bar is interposed between the hammer and the firing pin allowing discharge of a cartridge within the chamber. When the transfer bar is in the retracted position, a portion of the recess is exposed. The exposed recess is larger than the portion of the firing pin which protrudes from the receiver. Thus, inadvertent firing is prevented as the hammer cannot contact the firing pin. A transfer bar carrier pin located on the hand assembly initially cooperates with the trigger cam and the transfer bar to elevate the bar into the extended position. The weight of the safety mechanism is, therefore, not borne by the trigger, when the hammer is in the full cock position, resulting in a lighter and more accurate trigger pull. After the trigger has been fully actuated, the transfer bar carrier drops with the hand mechanism and a cam on the trigger maintains the transfer bar in the extended position. The trigger must remain in the fully actuated position until the hammer and transfer bar impact the firing pin. Premature release of the trigger will allow the transfer bar to drop and the firing pin will merely enter the recess in the hammer without contacting the hammer.

摘要: The sear is rotatably supported in the frame of the firearm to rotate around an axis of rotation. The hammer is pivotally mounted in the frame to pivot around a pivot axis. The hammer includes a striking surface. The sear includes a blocking surface which cooperates with a resting surface of the hammer. The position of the blocking surface of the sear which is determined by its axis of rotation, the position of the striking surface of the hammer, which is determined by the location of the pivot axis of the hammer, and the position of the rear end of the firing pin are selected in such a manner that when the hammer is in its decocked position, in which position the resting surface contacts the blocking surface, the striking surface of the hammer is at a distance from the rear end of the firing pin. Accordingly, the hammer does not contact in its decocked state the firing pin such that eg upon a dropping of the firearm a shot may inadvertently be fired. Furthermore, because the hammer is in its decocked position already remote from the rear end of the firing pin, a shorter and smoother path of pulling the trigger is needed when firing the firearm, which allows an improved hitting of a target. The hammer is automatically decocked after each shot.
