    Abstract: Disclosed is a novel wood pellet furnace firebox. The firebox comprises a firebox wall and a firebox bottom plate, wherein the firebox wall is provided with a hollow interlayer air duct, the outer wall of the firebox is provided with an air outlet which communicates with the interlayer air duct, and the bottom and top parts of the inner wall of the firebox are respectively provided with a bottom air intake hole and a top air intake hole which communicate with the interlayer air duct. By means of the arrangement of the firebox wall as a hollow interlayer structure, the present application allows a portion of air entering the interlayer air duct to enter from the bottom air intake hole and mix with ignited wood pellets for primary combustion, and another portion of air to be preheated by means of the interlayer air duct, then blow out from the top air intake hole and mix with red-hot flue gas and dust from the primary combustion for secondary combustion. The secondary combustion can increase the roasting temperature in a furnace chamber to above 800 degrees Fahrenheit, and on the other hand, can also burn up flue gas and dust as much as possible to greatly improve cleanliness in a furnace hearth, and increase the combustion efficiency and fuel utilization rate, which highlights the advantages of wood pellet furnaces with regards to saving energy and protecting the environment.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for cleaning exhaust gases from a fireplace, comprising a housing which accommodates functional components of the device, an inlet portion provided to receive exhaust gases from the fireplace, an outlet portion provided to discharge exhaust gases from the device, a bypass portion which is configured to establish a direct connection between the inlet portion and the outlet portion and which can be closed by means of a first mechanical flap arrangement, and a cleaning portion which extends between the inlet portion and the outlet portion for guiding an exhaust gas flow and is provided with a plurality of functional components, wherein the functional components at least comprise an electrostatic filter unit for separating fine dust particles, a centrifugal separator unit for removing particles from the exhaust gas, and a fan unit for driving a flow of the exhaust gas through the cleaning portion.

    Abstract: A modular brick or block outdoor structure includes an outdoor structure that is constructed in modular sections. Each modular section is fabricated from a plurality of paving bricks or retaining wall blocks that match the brick or block used to construct the patio. The bricks or blocks are preferably assembled to each other with adhesive. Each modular section includes means for transporting thereof with some type of equipment, if necessary. It is preferable that each modular section include channels to receive lifting forks of an end loader or other suitable transport device, if necessary. However, other methods of transporting the modular section may also be used.

    Abstract: A steam-based faux fireplace comprising a boiler configured to receive a fluid and generate steam, and a manifold configured to receive the steam from the boiler and emit the steam to generate a steam plume at an output. The manifold has a conduit configured to route the fluid about the manifold to heat the fluid before being routed to the boiler. The manifold is already heated due to the emitted steam. This configuration pre-heats the fluid before being presented to the boiler, allowing a smaller low power boiler to be used because the manifold acts as a fluid pre-heater. A very realistic faux flame with a significant length is generated from the low power boiler. In addition, the manifold includes a deflector configured to receive the impinging steam from the output, causing the steam to lose some energy and billow about the deflector and then illuminated to create a realistically looking flame.
