摘要： The apparatus includes a large-capacity main blower for drawing in air from the face of coal being mined. The main blower draws the air sequentially through a grid which deflects large pieces of coal into a refuse bin, and a main stage of centrifugal filters which separates dust and particles into a stream of dirty air while discharging the clean air back into the mine. The dirty air is routed through a secondary stage of centrifugal filters which is energized by a second blower or pressure unit, the output of which is then routed through a cloth filter stage. Only clean air is discharged into the atmosphere. An air balancing device maintains proper operating pressures in the secondary filter stage for more efficient processing of the dirty air discharge. An adjustable balancing plate maintains proper operating pressure at the collection outlets for the main and secondary filter stages. A device is also included for incorporating rock dust into the main clean air discharge using the power available at the main blower to reduce any hazard.

摘要： A device used as a combined scrubber and water droplet eliminator which may be employed in removing particulate from air, especially in conjunction with an underground mining machine. The scrubber is made of a fibrous bed material and is rotatable by a motor forming part of a bed assembly. Adjacent to the rotatable bed are water sprays directed to spray towards and on the bed as it rotates. A suitable air movement device, such as a fan, draws dust-laden and water drop-laden air to the rotating bed. The air goes through the bed and the dust and water particles impact the bed's rotating wetted fibers and are forced radially directly outward. The bed's rotation takes place against the inlet portion of a stationary bell mouth assembly. An air seal caused by the air pressure differential seals the rotating bed to the inside surface of the assembly. The rotating bed causes particles and water to be moved towards the bed's circumference where an open weave allows the particles and water to be dispersed in a continuous flushing action.

摘要： An absorption-induction convectional dust-controlling/removing air/fog curtain device of a fully-mechanized working face and a method thereof, wherein the device includes an extraction type dust-purifying blower, a sector deflector, a shearer external spraying device and an inter-hydraulic-support spraying device. The shearer external spraying devices are mounted at both sides of a shearer body close to rocking arms of a shearer and the inter-hydraulic-support spraying devices are mounted at two un-advanced hydraulic supports and two hydraulic supports at a leeward side of a front drum of the shearer respectively. Two extraction type dust-purifying blowers symmetrically mounted at the rocking arm close to the body of the shearer are started simultaneously with their air inlets exactly facing front and rear drums of the shearer respectively, and air outlets connected with the sector deflector. With the device and the method, the working environment is improved and safe production of the coal mine is guaranteed.

The off-road excavation apparatus includes an excavating component and a shroud assembly that at least partially covers the excavating component. The shroud assembly includes a first shroud component and a second shroud component. The first shroud component is moveable relative to the second shroud component to allow access to the excavating component. The air cleaning system draws air from inside the shroud assembly and includes an air cleaner, an air conduit and an air moving device that are all carried by the first shroud component as the first shroud component is moved relative to the second shroud component.
