    摘要: A method for automatically producing a defined face opening in a longwall mining operation, in underground coal mining, having a face conveyor, at least one extraction machine and hydraulic shield support frames. Inclination sensors are disposed on at least three of the four main components of each shield support frame, such as floor skid, gob shield, support connection rods and gob-side area of the top canopy. From ascertained inclination data, by comparison with base data defining a geometrical orientation of the components and a movement thereof during stepping, a respective shield height of the shield support frames perpendicular to a bed thereof is calculated. From further sensors on the extraction machine, a cutting height thereof is acquired as a face opening. In terms of a location-synchronous analysis, for possible adjustment purposes the cutting height is compared with the shield height when the shield support frame, which trails the extraction machine with a time delay, has reached the position to which relates that cutting height which was used in the comparison.

    摘要: A mineral mining installation comprises a longwall conveyor, a plough movable to and fro along a guide fixed to the face side of the longwall conveyor, and a drive station at one end of the longwall conveyor. The drive station includes a drive frame supporting drive means for driving the longwall conveyor. A support beam is provided at the goaf side of the drive station. The support beam extends substantially parallel to the drive frame. A floor plate extends beneath the drive frame. The goaf-side end portion of the floor plate is supported on the support beam by means of a lifting device, whereby the goaf-side end portion of the floor plate can be moved up and down relative to the support beam by the lifting device.

    摘要: The invention relates to a thrust device using a plurality of hydraulic jacks, and to the automatic control of a plurality of thrust jacks.Two differential jacks have resetting chambers which are permanently under hydraulic pressure. Associated with each jack there is a self-locking piloted valve placed in the active position by a push-rod at the end of a work stroke of the piston of the jack and restored into the inactive position by a piloted valve actuated by a push-rod 39 at the end of the return stroke of the piston to its starting position. In the active position the self-locking piloted valve controls the isolation from the supply of all the work chambers and the venting of the associated work chamber 14.

    摘要: A double-acting hydraulic cylinder and piston unit whose cylinder is connected to a mobile mine roof support and whose piston rod is attached to and can push a material evacuating conveyor stepwise toward the mine face in an underground excavation. The piston rod is hollow and its interior communicates with an annular chamber in front of the piston. A plunger in the piston rod is movable between a front stop and a rear stop and is biased against the rear stop by a helical spring. A distributor valve is provided to admit pressurized liquid into a second chamber behind the piston so that the piston moves forwardly and expels fluid from the annular chamber into the piston rod with the result that the plunger moves against the front stop and prevents further forward movement of the piston rod. The valve is then reset to allow the outflow of fluid from the annular chamber while the fluid in the second chamber remains entrapped whereby the plunger returns against the rear stop under the action of the spring. The piston again moves the piston rod and the conveyor forwardly in response to renewed admission of fluid into the second chamber while the annular chamber is sealed against escape of fluid. The piston can complete a stroke of maximum length if the second chamber receives fluid while the valve allows fluid to escape from the annular chamber. The cylinder is moved forwardly to pull the mine roof support toward the mine face by admitting pressurized fluid into the annular chamber while the valve allows fluid to escape from the second chamber.
