    摘要: An open and close apparatus for a shelter of a boarding bridge includes at least one extension arm means provided on the portal frame, each extension arm means comprising: an upper arm having one end pivotally coupled with a column of the portal frame; a lower arm having one end pivotally coupled with the other end of the upper arm and the other end pivotally coupled with an upper end of the flexible frame; a propeller controlled by a control system and including an extension rod and a main body for accommodating the extension rod, wherein one end of the extension rod is pivotally coupled with the lower arm, and one end of the main body is pivotally coupled with the upper arm; and overpressure protection means for buffering an acting force between the shelter and the aircraft shell, and the overpressure protection means is connected to the control system such that when the acting force exceeds a predetermined value, the control system controls the propeller to stop protruding and/or contracting the extension rod. The open and close apparatus in the present invention can perfectly seal with an entrance of an aircraft with a large profile curve variety and is simple in configuration, and can prevent the aircraft shell from distortion or damage when the aircraft shell squeezes or collides with the shelter.

    摘要: A method of identifying the position of an opening, for example a door or a cargo bay, or the like of an aircraft, said opening having a predetermined perimeter, said method comprising: i) providing at least one passive target means (10, 11) proximate the perimeter of said opening and preferably being disposed proximate the perimeter of said opening, and when said opening is a door proximate the four corners of said door, and in another embodiment said target means is provided as a cluster of targets for example, at least one target located proximate each corner of said door; ii) directing a preferably pulsing lighting means (30) on said target (10, 11), preferably a passive reflective target such as that manufactured by the 3M company under the trademark Scotchlite® in one embodiment being in the invisible spectrum such as infrared or the like; iii) providing a target identification means and preferably at least one camera (20) and preferably a digital camera synchronized with said lighting means (30) and preferably housed together with said light to provide raw data, preferably images to a computing means; iv) computing means for receiving information from said target identification means and preferably at least one camera to process said information (in one embodiment provide enhanced images) and compare it to information stored in the computing means and thereby determine further action which might be taken based on the identification of the position opening.

The bridge section (12) being connected to a support structure (14) which has a pair of elongate beams (16,17), that are spaced apart and generally parallel. The beams (16,17) each including leading and trailing feet (18,19). The bridge section (12) is attached to the beams (16,17) for relative movement forward and backward along the beams (16,17) and vertically up and down. The crawler bridge (10) has a first mode of operation when the leading and trailing feet 18,19 of the beams (16,17) are in engagement with a ground surface, in which the bridge section (12) is supported by the support structure (14) elevated above the ground surface and is movable forward and backward along the beams (16,17) and vertically up and down. The crawler bridge (10) has a second mode of operation when the bridge section (12) has been moved downward relative to the beams (16,17) and into engagement with a supporting surface, in which the leading and trailing feet (18,19) of the beams (16,17) are lifted away from the supporting surface and the beams (16,17) are movable forward and backward relative to the bridge section (12) and vertically up and down relative to the bridge section (12).

    摘要: An apparatus for carrying a bridge on a vehicle and deploying the bridge to the ground is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a mounting bracket for mounting the apparatus to a vehicle, and a foot pivotable relative to the mounting bracket between a first position in which the foot engages the ground for supporting a bridge and a second position in which the foot is separated from the ground to permit movement of the vehicle. A bridge engaging probe is pivotable relative to the foot between a third position in which the bridge is on the ground and a fourth position in which the centre of gravity of the bridge is raised relative to the third position. First and second cylinder actuators pivot the probe between the third and fourth positions. Third and fourth cylinder actuators pivot the foot between the first and second positions. The first and second cylinder actuators, and the third and fourth cylinder actuators, are arranged such that the sum of the turning moments produced by the first and second, and by the third and fourth actuators, is never zero when each pair of cylinder actuators pivots between said positions.
