The present invention is configured such that a needle thread guide member A, in which an inclined part 1 is formed that guides the needle thread n from the thread-holding tool 71 to the cutting tool 93, is provided between the thread-holding tool 71 and the cutting tool 93, and the inclined part of the needle thread guide member A guides the needle thread n that has been cut by the cutting tool out of the operation range of the operation lever 4.

Abstract: In a sewing machine, an elevating unit is configured to be integrally raised and lowered with a threading lever of a threading apparatus. Furthermore, an operating lever is coupled to a lever interlocking mechanism that interlocks with the rotational operation of the operating lever. Upon pressing threading lever downward from an initial position when operating lever is at an operating position, an elevating unit engages with lever interlocking mechanism. Operating force applied to threading lever is transmitted to operating lever via lever interlocking mechanism, thereby turning operating lever from operating position to non-operating position. Accordingly, even when a presser is at a raised position, by pressing threading lever downward, operating lever is turnable from operating position to non-operating position, thereby allowing presser to return to pressing position.

Abstract: With a overlock sewing machine, when a switching mechanism is switched to a threading-enabled state, and a looper cover is closed, the looper cover is slid toward one side in the hinge shaft axial direction so as to operate a detection lever. In the non-operating state, the detection lever is set to an initial position where it does not press an operation protrusion of a switch. When a side cover is closed, and the detection lever is operated, the operation lever is set to an operation-enabled position where it presses the operation protrusion. When the operation lever is operated, and the side cover is opened, the detection lever is set by passing through the operation-enabled to the operation-disabled position where it does not press the operation protrusion.

Abstract: In an overlock sewing machine, a main shaft fixing operating shaft is provided with a differentiation ring that can be swung in a predetermined range such that, when the rotation of a main shaft is to be enabled, it is set to an enable state in a stationary state, and when the rotation of the main shaft is disabled, it is swung and shifted from the enable position. Furthermore, a looper cover open/closed detection configuration is configured by modifying a part of a typical known configuration.
