Abstract: A vibratory apparatus includes a first mass comprising a first deck with a path of travel between a first point and a second point along the first deck, a second mass comprising a second deck with a path of travel between a first point and a second point along the second deck, a shaft coupled to the first mass and at least one eccentric weight coupled to the shaft, and at least one resilient member in the form of a plate having a thickness, the plate coupled at a first end to the first deck and at a second end to the second deck, the plate having a thickness disposed transverse to the path of travel along the first and second decks, the plate having at least one opening formed therethrough to form a web having a spring characteristic.

Abstract: An improved vibratory bowl feeder is provided. The improved vibratory bowl feeder includes a removable impact cone formed from an impact resistant material to deflect falling industrial workpieces toward the sidewall of a bowl. The impact cone includes a through-hole for a center bolt, the center bolt securing the impact cone to the bowl. An adhesive layer bonds the impact cone to the bowl, which is optionally formed from stainless steel. The impact cone includes a frusto-conical or hemispherical impact surface that deadens the impact from industrial workpieces falling from an overhead hopper. Replacement of the impact cone can be achieved within minimal downtime, and varying impact cones can be selected based on the size and the shape of the industrial workpieces for a given inspection run.

Abstract: The invention relates to a weighing machine for weighing portions of material, which weighing machine comprises a frame structure on which a central distributor, a plurality of linear conveyors and a plurality of scales are mounted, and wherein the linear conveyors are arranged around the central distributor and each is configured as a conveyor duct suspended in relation to a counterweight by means of spring elements extending between the conveyor duct and the counterweight in such a manner that the transport duct is, by means of a vibrator intended therefore, caused to vibrate in a vibration pattern causing it to transport, during the vibration, maerial from the centra distributor and radially outwards to the scales. The invention is characterised in that the counterweight for each of the transport ducts in the linear conveyors are constituted of the frame structure of the machine, the spring elements for each transport duct being mounted directly on the frame structure.

Abstract: A vibratory device operating as a two mass vibrating system having an exciter mass and a work member mass spring coupled and supported by isolator springs and operating at a frequency less than the natural frequency of the system. Two or more cylindrical elastomer springs are mounted on a center beam of the work member having a spring rate in the shear direction for setting the required natural frequency and also provide a spring rate in the compression direction that will have a natural frequency substantially above the natural frequency in the shear direction. The cylindrical elastomer springs mounted to a single rigid center beam provides flexibility of design for a specific work member application.

Abstract: A vibrating screen feed conveying apparatus for conveying and separating sticky “moisture laden bulk solids” which are sticky and wet flowing onto a vibrating screening feeder and into a hopper. The apparatus includes a bed on which material is conveyed, a longitudinal counterbalance supported on a plurality of isolation springs, a plurality of inclined drive springs extending between the bed and the longitudinal counterbalance, and a plurality of stabilizers for controlling movement of the drive springs along their central axes. A plurality of vibratory motors, each having rotatable eccentric weights are attached to the rear end of the longitudinal counterbalance. The eccentric weights rotate in phase with one another to vibrate the bed at a vibration frequency.

Abstract: A two-mass heavy duty vibratory machine has a frame in the form of a box-like cage in which a working member, such as a screen, is received. In one embodiment of the disclosure, the frame is resiliently mounted on a stationary support surface and the working member is resiliently suspended from the frame.
