Abstract:
A lottery ticket dispenser array includes ticket bins, with each bin defined by a housing for receipt of a supply of interconnected lottery tickets. Each bin has an electronic drive mechanism that dispenses the lottery tickets therefrom. A slot is defined in the back side of each bin housing through which the lottery tickets are dispensed from the internal space, and a separation device is adjacent the slot. A calibration field is located relative to the slot such that the lottery tickets pass alongside the calibration filed in a travel path of the lottery tickets through the slot. An optical scanner is disposed internal to the housing at a location to read the marks in calibration field. Based on a position of a forward edge of a ticket in the calibration field, a control system determines an adjustment to a predefined length of the leading ticket to advance in a subsequent dispense cycle.
Abstract:
In some embodiments, the instant invention provides an exemplary method for dispensing that at least includes: initiating a movement of a dispensing object along a dispensing passage of a dispensing device; determining, by a displacement sensor, a magnitude of a displacement of the dispensing object along the dispensing passage based on remotely measuring, by the displacement sensor, a characteristic associated with the dispensing object during the movement of the dispensing object along the dispensing passage; generating an indication by the displacement sensor when the magnitude of the displacement is equal to or exceeds a pre-determined distance value; separating, based on the indication, a portion from the dispensing object to form a remaining portion of the dispensing object and a separated portion of the dispensing object; and dispensing the separated portion of the dispensing object from the dispensing device.

Abstract:
A paper cutting control device for ticket paper and ticket dispensing machine comprising the same, wherein the paper cutting control device for ticket paper comprises a driving motor (M), a first sensor (2), a cutter (3), a controller and a second sensor (4). The first sensor is located on an upstream of the cutter and used for detecting a spacing mark (B) between adjacent tickets of the ticket paper and sending a spacing mark arrival signal when the spacing mark is detected. The second sensor is located on a downstream of the cutter and used for detecting a front end of the ticket paper and sending a ticket arrival signal when the front end of the ticket paper is detected. A ticket dispensing machine has the paper cutting control device for ticket paper.
Abstract:
An improved coupon dispenser device is disclosed comprising an outer box having a sloped front end with rectangular opening therein, a channeled inner sleeve longitudinally extending through the outer box, and a curved, spring-loaded pusher member therein contained and directed to urge a stack of folded coupon sheets axially through the sleeve and to the opening in the outer box in a deflected manner. The inner sleeve is constructed having channeled top and bottom wall surfaces substantially saw-tooth in their configuration and further formed having a sloped profile at its open front end conforming with the sloped front end of the outer box. The sloped front end of the outer box is formed in two divergent planes established by separate top and bottom panels positioned on either side of the opening so that the outermost coupon sheet is delivered at the opening with its leading flap extending therefrom in a position of easy retrieval for the consumer. The coupon dispenser device may be mounted upon a store shelf or other like surface using conventional means.
Abstract:
A pocket-sized business card dispenser which includes a reciprocating ejector mechanism, a drawer for containing a stack of business cards, and a case or housing for containing the ejector, drawer and cards.
Abstract:
THE DISPENSING CONTAINER INCLUDES AN UPPER WALL HAVING AN OUTWARDLY TURNED FLANGE, THE FLANGE INCLUDING A SEPARATING EDGE; AND A HINGED LID ALSO HAVING AN OUTWARDLY TURNED FLANGE. THE FLANGES ARC ADJACENT WHEN THE LID IS CLOSED. THE BEND LINES AT THE JUNCTURE OF THE UPPER WALL AND ITS FLANGE, AND THE LID AND ITS FLANGE, DEFINE A THROAT RECEIVING THE LOADED STRIP OF LABELS. THE LID BEND LINE PROVIDES A PRESSURE EDGE ADJUSTABLY DISPOSED RELATIVE TO THE LOADED STRIP. THE INTERIOR OF THE CONTAINER IS SUBDIVIDED INTO A PLURALITY OF STALLS EACH ACCOMMODATING ONE ROLL. A GUIDE PLATE ABOVE THE UPPER PLATE INCLUDES A PLURALITY OF DOWNWARDLY PROJECTING TABS FORMING SLOTS IN REGISTER WITH THE STALLS TO THAT THE STRIP WHICH PASSED THROUGH THE THROAT, OVER THE SEPARATING EDGE AND THROUGH THE GUIDE SLOTS IS PREVENTED FROM INADVERTENT TEARING.
