摘要： A shopping cart with dedicated multi-compartments is described. There are five distinct compartments which are shallow and formed of wire mesh to provide visibility of the articles in the compartments whereby a person can quickly examine the articles placed in each of the compartments to ascertain their nature. Also, the size and location of the compartments provides for the placement and separation of different types of articles which either need to be separated from one another and permit lower support for the placement of heavy objects. The provision of such multi-compartments also prevents articles from being damaged or odor contaminated by other articles positioned in the same compartments. Casters are disposed on the outer periphery of the frame of the shopping cart, wherein the load in the multi-compartments remains between the casters to provide stability, and preventing tipping of the shopping cart.

摘要： A locking device for a golf cart has a bracket, two sleeves, an engaging bar and two securing members. The bracket is securely connected to an axle to which the rear wheels are mounted, and the stem of the golf cart is pivotally mounted on the bracket. The sleeves are securely connected to the bracket and securely mounted around the axle. The engaging bar is secured to the stem and near the bracket. The securing members are respectively rotatably mounted on the bracket and chassis, and each has a hook and a pressed segment extending outward from the chassis. Accordingly, the user can operate the locking device with foot, and to fold or to expand the golf cart is convenient.

摘要： A shopping cart, which is nestable with a similar cart preceding it for storage, comprises a wheeled chassis, a handle structure, a basket having a front wall, a bottom wall, and two side walls, and a rear gate mounted so as to be pivotable. When the basket of the shopping cart is pushed into the basket of the preceding cart, the rear gate of the preceding cart is pivoted into an elevated position. In the elevated position, unless the rear gate of the preceding cart rests on the upper edges of both side walls of the basket being pushed thereinto, the rear gate of the preceding cart rests on the upper edge of one side wall of the basket being pushed thereinto but one corner of the rear gate of the preceding cart, near the side wall that is opposite, can drop into the basket of the shopping cart. Each side wall of the basket of the shopping cart has a ledge, which projects laterally into the basket from such side wall and which has an inclined surface adapted to engage such a corner dropping into the basket of the shopping cart and to guide the engaged corner upwardly along the inclined surface as the basket of the shopping cart is pulled from the basket of the preceding cart. In a preferred embodiment, the front, bottom, and side walls of the basket of the shopping cart are molded from a polymeric material and the inclined ledge projecting from each side wall is molded unitarily with such side wall.

摘要： A shopping cart which is nestable with other conventional shopping carts and has a front storage compartment disposed at a front end oft the cart. The front storage compartment provides for additional storage capacity to the cart without occupying the space of a main compartment of the cart in which the main compartment may contain selected items. The shopping cart includes a front end having upper and lower portions through which the storage compartment is disposed. The front storage compartment is pivotally connected to the shopping cart at the lower portion. The front storage compartment is easily pivoted fore with respect to the front end of the cart to define an open or added storage position. In gathering and nesting the cart with other carts, the front storage compartment is easily pivoted aft with respect to the front end to define a closed or stowed position.
