    摘要： A record material utilizing the color forming reaction between a substantially colorless chromogenic material and an electron accepting reactant material is disclosed. The colorless chromogenic material used comprises a mixture of the first component consisting of at least one specified phthalide compound having two vinyl linkages and the second component of another kind of chromogenic material which is different from said first component. The first component of the chromogenic material is used in an amount of 5 to 80%, preferably 7 to 50%, by weight with respect to the amount of the second component and in such an amount that the reflectance at any wavelength within the range of 580 nm to 880 nm, preferably within the range of 500 to 880 nm of color images developed by said color forming reaction is less by at least 55% than that of said record material before color developing.

    摘要： Novel imidomethyl or amidomethyl derivatives of 1,3,3trimethylindolino-spiropyran are produced by reacting a 1,3,3trimethylindolino-spiropyran derivative with an imidomethylating or amidomethylating agent in the presence of a condensing agent and optionally in a solvent. These novel compounds are adapted to be used as a coloring matter for pressure sensitive copy papers and particularly as one component of a coloring matter for black pressure sensitive copy papers.

    摘要： A pressure-sensitive recording material which comprises a substrate bearing a dye-forming component and a binder. The dye-forming component is a spirodipyran of the formula ##STR1## where A is the radical of a fused benzene or naphthalene ring (which rings may or may not be substituted), R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1 to 16 carbon atoms, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl or phenalkyl of 7 to 10 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is H or together with R.sup.1 is a trimethylene or tetramethylene bridge which is unsubstituted or substituted by from 1 to 3 alkyl, R.sup.3 is benzyl or .beta.-phenylethyl and R.sup.4 is benzyl, .beta.-phenylethyl or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, or R.sup.3 is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R.sup.4 is substituted or unsubstituted phenyl or R.sup.3 is benzyl and R.sup.4 is .beta.-cyanoethyl. The recording materials give violet to bluish green colorations (copies) only on paper coated with an electron acceptor.
