摘要: A laminating heating module for use in a flatbed laminating machine. The heating module comprises an elongate body portion with at least one heating pad attached thereto. The heating pad is fabricated from silicone rubber and includes three separate heating zones for regulating the heat to the body portion. Attached to each heating zone of the heating pad is a respective thermocouple to control the temperature of each heating zone. The heating module further comprises a thermostat attached to the heating pad and operative to protect the temperature of the body portion of the heating module from overheating.

摘要: A large round baler is equipped with a device for wrapping a bale formed in the baling chamber of the baler with a web of plastic sheeting or net wrapping medium. A supply roll of the wrapping medium is located in a box mounted forward of the baling chamber for movement along a fore-and-aft extending guide rail between a standby position, wherein a free end of the wrapping medium is supported by a guide surface at a location spaced forward of the baling chamber, and a wrapping position, wherein the free end of the wrapping medium is located for being grabbed by rotating rollers and/or the formed bale so that a length of the wrapping medium is pulled from the supply roll as it is wrapped about the bale. A power operated brake operates on the supply roll so as to provide a constant tension in the wrapping medium during wrapping operation.

摘要: A laminator assembly and method utilizes an endless belt (17a, 17b, 300) and roller arrangement to apply pressure to media (100) to be laminated and to convey the media in a controlled manner to heated pressure rollers (11a, 11b, 301, 307). In one feature of the invention, control nips can be provided on one or both sides of the heated pressure rollers so as to minimize or eliminate flutes or ripples in the media to be laminated. The control nips can be applied by plate assemblies (29, 30, 315) which create the control nip and also serve to gain control of the media to be laminated prior to the media reaching the heated pressure roller arrangement. In the case where the plate assembly is downstream of the heated pressure roller arrangement, the plates can serve to hold the media flat while it cools down. The endless belts apply a tapering and controlled pressure to the media prior to the media reaching the heated pressure rollers where lamination occurs.

摘要: A lamination machine for adhesively heat laminating adjacent surfaces of two or more layers of material to each other. The machine includes upper and lower opposing conveyor belts disposed one above the other to form a lamination passage therebetween and through which layers of material travel during lamination. At least one pressure roller is tensioned against the layers to be laminated. A heating module is disposed between the entrance and pressure roller, while a cooling module is disposed between the pressure roller and an exit. The heating module provides a plurality of rigidly maintained single-structure extruded heater components for melting an adhesion constituent disposed between the layers of material in preparation for lamination. Once the layers are pressured together to form a laminated product, that laminated product immediately enters the cooling module bearing a plurality of rigidly maintained single-structure extruded cooler components for cooling the laminated product as it travels through the cooling module. Rigidity of both the heater and cooler components can be enhanced by mounting hollow channels of both on respective rigid tubes. In this manner, a beneficial generally non-elastic lamination pathway is maintained for uniform production of laminated goods.

摘要: A large round baler is equipped with a chassis, including an outer pair of fixed side walls, that extend rearwardly beyond a pair of inner side walls which form opposite sides of a baling chamber. In an upper region of the baler, belts or the like are supported by a plurality of fixed rotary bodies extending either between the inner or the outer side walls and a movable rotary body carried at the end of a pivotally mounted tension arm, to form a large take-up loop that becomes smaller as a run of the belts expands during growth of the bale being formed. The run of belts, which is looped about the bale being formed, is conducted over rollers carried by a vertically pivoted frame, such that when the frame is swung between a lower extreme position, which it occupies during formation of a bale to a raised position, the formed bale is deposited on the ground.

摘要: The gluing together of flat materials between belt faces (21, 22), facing one another, of belt conveyors (15, 16) arranged over one another is effected usually with the application of heat and pressure. However there are pressure sensitive materials that with the gluing may only be impinged with a slight pressure. Here already the weight of the sagging belt face (21) of the upper belt conveyor may lead to an excessive pressure loading and a permanent deformation of the materials caused by way of this. The invention solves the mentioned problem in that the upper belt face (21) located above the materials to be glued is held up without contact, e.g., by means of suction nozzles or magnets. The sagging of the belt face (21) is alleviated by way of this and an undesirable high pressure loading of the materials to be glued is avoided. By way of the contactless holding-up of the belt face (21) the suction nozzles or magnets do not interfere.

摘要: A lamination machine for adhesively heat laminating adjacent surfaces of two lengths of material to each other. The machine includes a flatbed pre-laminating station with upper and lower pre-lamination conveyor belts and banks of heater components immediately above and below. At least one pre-lamination belt is vertically movable to establish and adjust a gap between belts while its associated bank of heating elements is vertically pressuredly movable to thereby tightly maintain proximity of heater elements, belts, and laminate materials. Situated immediately downstream is a pressure roller independently vertically movable to establish and adjust laminate gap distance and, during lamination operation, tensioned against a lower conveyor belt guide roller and movable by a roller pressure driver toward the guide roller. A flatbed cooling station is situated downstream from the pressure roller and includes opposing cooling station conveyor belts separate from those of the pre-laminating station to form a cooling passage therebetween whose height is established and adjusted by independent vertical movement of at least one belt, while its associated bank of cooling elements is vertically pressuredly movable to thereby tightly maintain proximity of cooling components, belts, and laminate materials in the cooling station. The pre-lamination and cooling station conveyor belts remain flat during operation and thus do not experience air gap production above and below heating and cooling components and consequent production of temperature inconsistencies. Further, the pressure roller position restricts air gap production on either side thereof, thereby maximizing temperature consistency throughout pre-lamination and cooling.

摘要: This invention relates to a lamination apparatus and in particular to a dual belt driven, continuous pressure lamination apparatus that utilizes pressure, heat and cooling to bond at least two substrates (plies) with an adhesive between the layers of the substrates. The pressure laminator of the present invention has been specifically designed to permit the permanent joining of at least two fabric substrates with an adhesive between the fabric substrates, with little or no shrinkage occurring during the lamination process. The resulting non-woven fabric advantageously has the appearance of a woven fabric, but has superior strength characteristics there over. The pressure laminator of the present invention can have other uses, for example, printed circuit board substrate manufacture, and the like, as will be appreciated by those having ordinary skill in this art.

摘要: The present invention relates to a sealing device for using heat to form a weld between a first layer of plastic and a second layer of plastic, provided with heating means for heating the layers of plastic and conveyor means for conveying the layers of plastic past the heating means, and separation means for forming a separating layer between the heating means and the layers of plastic while the latter are being heated, the separation means being displaceable in the direction of movement of the layers of plastic past the heating means. The sealing device according to the invention is characterized in that preheating means are provided for the purpose of preheating the separation means before they are fed to the heating means.
