    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a screwdriver attachment for screws, which has a first shaft section with a first longitudinal axis, and a second shaft section with a second longitudinal axis. The second shaft section is coupled to the first shaft section via a linking disk. The first shaft section has a free end with which the screws are turned. The first shaft section and second shaft section are connected to one another by a spring element, which aligns the first shaft section in a starting position in which the first longitudinal axis and the second longitudinal axis are aligned coaxially. Screws can be readily turned with the screwdriver attachment according to the disclosure, even if there is a certain offset between the axes.

    Abstract: A fastener identifying unit for use within an installation tool, has one or more movable jaws associated with a barrel. At least one jaw includes an identification member that changes position when the respective jaw moves or is actuated. The jaws are movable relative to the barrel and define a fastener receiving section, which may be an interface between a pair of jaws. The jaws are biased in a relative direction maintaining the identification member in a first position when a fastener is not present in the barrel. When a fastener is inserted into the barrel, the tip is received by the receiving section, which thereby causes the one or more movable jaws to move against the bias and the identification member to shift to a second position. The identification member is viewable by an installer in the second position to notify the installer of the presence of the fastener.

    Abstract: A power screwdriver includes a housing having a vacuum chamber arranged to communicate with a source of sub-atmospheric pressure. The power screwdriver includes a motor, a bit drive spindle, and a bit supporting sleeve connected to the bit drive spindle. The rear end part of the bit supporting sleeve is surrounded by the vacuum chamber. The bit supporting sleeve is journaled by a bearing between a forward end part and a rear end part of the bit supporting sleeve. The bit supporting sleeve includes at least one longitude vacuum passage extending from its rear end part to its forward end part.

    Abstract: A hot stick installation accessory is provided. The accessory includes a main housing, a base, and a tool. The main housing has a holding region that holds an electrical component. The base can be removably secured to a body of the hot stick. The base is connected to the main housing for rotation about an axis parallel to the hot stick. The tool is secured to the base so that the tool moves along the axis and is operative alignment with a first area of the holding region. The tool is securable to a hook of the hot stick so that rotation of the hot stick, and thus of the hook, results in rotation of the tool with respect to the main housing.

    Abstract: A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates an additional gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the bracing surface. Additionally, the engagement cavity traverses into the screw bit body from the first base to the second base. The engagement cavity is specifically positioned offset from the first lateral edge by a first distance.
