    摘要： A chain link fence with retained slats including a chain link fence with two or more slats inserted into the fence, each slat haVing two opposing apertures bounding an internal channel and at least one band disposed through the internal channels so as to retain the slats within the chain link fence. Apertures may form cutouts in the slats. The band is flexible and inserted into the chain link fence before installation. The entire system is configured to be rolled and unrolled.     摘要： A chain link fence with retained slats having slats inserted into the chain link fence and running between the top of the fence and the bottom of the fence. At least one band (which band may, itself, be a single elongate element or a combination of elongate elements) runs transversely across the interior of each such slat through an internal passage. Each band and each slat is inserted into said chain link fence before installation of said chain link fence. Preferably, when viewed looking at the face of the band, each band is tapered, as also is each band when viewed looking at the side of such band. At least one external opening of each internal passage is beveled, and at least one external opening of each internal passage has a concave shape when seen in a plan view looking at the face of each said slat.

    摘要： In a chain link fence having a plurality of elongate slats woven through the links of the chain link fabric, an improved system for locking and retaining the slats in the chain link fabric comprises an elongate clip member which is received in locking interengagement in a receptacle or opening in the respective slat. The clip member can be of the type which simply extends from the sides of the slat to form an obstruction with the links in the fence such that the slats cannot be removed from the fence. Alternatively, the clip members can be adapted to extend from the slat to a bottom rail so as to lock the slats to the bottom rail such that the slats cannot be removed from the fence.

    摘要： A tomato cage is provided which can be quickly and easily assembled with no tools at all, or merely a pair of pliers. When disassembled it can be stored in a minimum space, and since there are very few different components, it can be manufactured in a simple manner. A plurality of vertical support posts are disposed at the corners of a polygon; e.g. four support posts are disposed at the corners of a square. Rods interconnect the support posts, apertures being formed in the support posts for receiving a first end of a rod. Only one type of rod need be utilized, having a generally straight first end and having a hook at a second end, each rod extending from an aperture in one post to a position wherein the hook engages another rod adjacent the second post, and so that each rod makes an angle in the range of about 5.degree.-10.degree. with respect to the horizontal. Alternatively, a second type of rod may be provided having a first end like the first ends of the first rods, and having a second end comprising a straight portion generally perpendicular to a straight middle portion of the rod. In this embodiment three first rods and a second rod are provided for each level, with a middle portion of one rod extending through an opening in a keeper washer and the second end of the second rod also extending through the opening in the keeper washer and held in place thereby. Preferably one of the four support posts is driven into the ground up to an indicia line, while the other three, being the same length, rest on the ground.

    摘要： Chain link fencing having a plurality of elongate picket members comprising elongate slats that lie in diagonal valleys of the chain link fencing. Elongate, U-shaped channels lie along the respective sides of each elongate slat. The channels fit over and cover a row or ridge of knuckles formed along the side of each of the respective valleys of the chain link fencing. The pickets cover essentially the entire side of the chain link fence and leave no spaces or openings between pickets. The system thus provides complete privacy. Engagement members are associated with the channels to secure the channel members and thus the pickets to respective rows or ridges of knuckles on the chain link fencing.

    摘要： Slat apparatus for a chain link fence, comprising a plurality of substantially parallel slats extending through the fence wires. Each slat has laterally extending wing portions positioned closely adjacent to the wing portions of adjoining slats to provide privacy by leaving only small spaces between the slats. The slats have apertures extending laterally therethrough rearwardly of the wing portions. The slat apertures are laterally aligned and a flexible belt extends through the apertures to retain the slats in parallel relation on the fence. The wing portions are of less thickness than the slats.
