The method for making the etch mask comprising forming an etch mask layer over an emitting layer, forming a patterning layer having a controlled distribution of mask sizes over the etch mask layer, and forming the etch mask by removing portions of the etch mask layer using the controlled distribution of mask sizes in the patterning layer. In both methods, the controlled distribution of mask sizes preferably contains one mask size which is a median mask size with an equal number of larger and smaller mask sizes, where every larger mask size has a corresponding smaller mask size, the average of the smaller and larger mask sizes being the median mask size.

摘要： A chucking device of the present invention includes an annular elastic member sandwiched between an upper and a lower member. A rod is slidable up and down in a bore formed in the upper and lower members and is partly positioned in the elastic member. The rod presses the elastic member radially outward when raised or lowered, thereby causing the chucking device to chuck a hollow, cylindrical base. The elastic member contacts the inner periphery of the base over a minimum of area and surely, closely contacts it for thereby implementing desirable sealing. The chucking device can therefore form a uniform film on the outer periphery of the base.

摘要： A protective coating and a method for applying the protective coating to a wall of a freezer enclosure includes applying a screen to the wall wherein the screen includes a plurality of intersecting elements forming a plurality of openings. One or more coatings of a polymer are then applied to the screen in a sufficient quantity to coat the screen and permeate the plurality of openings through to the wall. The polymer is then allowed to solidify or cure thereby creating a temperature, abrasion and chemical resistant protective coating on or within the freezer enclosure.

摘要： This invention is directed to a paint shield, having a renewable protective pad of throw-away cover elements, allowing the painter to quickly renew the distal edge and working surface of his paint shield in order to prevent accumulated over-spray or brush paint from errantly being deposited or dripped onto other surfaces during operation. More specifically the device is constructed and arranged to renew the working face and distal edge of a paint shield by employing a pad of paint impervious cover elements. The protective pad is comprised of a plurality of cover elements disposed one on top of another, each cover element having readily releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive at least partially covering one face and being free of adhesive on the opposite face. The cover elements are stacked with the adhesive side of each element facing the non-adhesive side of the element below to maintain the elements in a layered protective pad. When an excessive amount of paint has accumulated on the surface of the top cover element, it can be peeled away to reveal a fresh cover element and operation continues.

摘要： A deposition mask capable of relaxing nonuniformity of the thickness of a deposit formed on a substrate and reducing the width of a non-opening part of a mask layer by reducing the thickness of the mask layer is obtained. This deposition mask comprises a mask layer formed by a single silicon thin film and a mask pattern, formed on the mask layer, including a mask opening having an opening width increased toward a deposition source. The mask layer formed by a silicon thin film can be reduced in thickness due to small deflection caused by its own weight. Thus, the width of the non-opening part of the mask layer can be reduced, whereby the width of a part formed with no deposit can be reduced. The mask opening having the opening width increased toward the deposition source reduces the probability of deposit particles, obliquely scattered from the deposition source, hitting an end of the mask opening, whereby the deposit is prevented from being reduced in thickness on an end corresponding to the end of the mask opening as well as from nonuniformity of the thickness.
