摘要： The drink caddy came to me when I was crabbing and got thirsty for a drink. I had no place to store my drink as I was wading in two feet of water. A simple solution came to me where I could easily pop in a beverage into a holder that I could suspend by clipping onto the beltine of my shorts. My drink would be easily accesible and would swivel should I have to bend over while crabbing. In addition the empty can would be stored until I could dispose of it properly in a trash receptacle.

A gel filled ice pack surrounding the bladder of the pack allows for chilling of the contents of the bladder. In a disposable embodiment, the hydration pack may be pre-packaged with an energy beverage concentrate. A flexible, thin walled, disposable, or semi-flexible straw, passing through the wall of the bladder or through the cap of an access cap, delivers a beverage from the pack to the mouth of a user without the need for bringing the container of the pack to the region of the mouth. In an alternate embodiment, a belt attached to the bladder allows a user to strap the pack around his waist or over his shoulder.

The holder is comprised of a support member having first and second loops, an adjustment means for attaching a beverage container to the first loop of the support member and a clip attached to the second loop of the support member for removably securing the holder to a user's clothes or accessories. In use, the first loop of the support member is placed around the top of a drink container, such as a water bottle or a 20 oz. beverage container, the adjustment means is used to secure the first loop to the top of the beverage container and the clip is removably attached to the user. The clip can either be attached to the user's clothing or it may be attached to an accessory, such as a purse or a backpack.
