摘要： A hair setter apparatus generally includes a housing and a heater assembly having a first heat delivery rail and a second heat delivery rail mounted in the housing in spaced parallel relationship to each other. The apparatus further includes a plurality of hair setters. Each of the hair setters has a central body with opposing web plates spaced from each other to define a mounting slot extending longitudinally of the hair setter and configured to slidably couple the hair setter to one of the heat delivery rails along a longitudinal edge of one of the heat delivery rails. The hair setter is sized relative to the insert opening for insertion of the hair setter through an insert opening and onto the respective one of the heat delivery rails within the interior space of the housing.

摘要： This invention relates to an improved hair styling device, and provides a hair styling device for imparting a wave to a tress of hair. The device comprises a tube (110) having a longitudinal axis, the tube being open at at least one of its longitudinal ends whereby the tress of hair can be introduced into the tube. The tube is longitudinally extendable between a non-extended condition and an extended condition. The inside of the tube has at least one barrier (120) which can engage the tress of hair as the tube moves towards its non-extended condition, the barrier controlling the deformation of the tress of hair and thereby controlling the form of the wave produced in the tress of hair.

摘要： A device for permanently curling hair has a hair rod, a cap, and an optional elastic band for attaching the cap to the hair rod. The hair rod is formed as a cylindrical hollow body. A first and second end plates are positioned on respective ends of the body. A plurality of outwardly extending projections formed on an outer surface of the body between the first and the second end plates facilitate retaining of hair on the rod during the rolling process. The body has a pair of diametrically opposite elongated slots that help retain pieces of perm paper on the hair and the rod, and a plurality of openings extending through the body that facilitate free water and perming solution flow through the hair rod. The cap has a lengthwise slit, and is sufficiently resilient to permit the lengthwise slit to be selectively widened by hands to snap over the body to thereby closely encircle the body with the mesh cap.
