摘要： A device for automated loading and forming smoking articles has a pre-rolled cone holder holding a plurality of pre-rolled cones. A loading mechanism loads individual pre-rolled cones in the pre-rolled cone holder with a predefined amount of material. A filling mechanism deposits the predefined amount of material in the loading mechanism, the filling mechanism monitoring an amount of material loaded in the filling mechanism and sending a signal to stop loading the filling mechanism with the material when a predefined amount has been loaded. A dispensing mechanism sends the material to the filling mechanism. A hopper is in communication with the dispensing mechanism storing the material. A shaker is coupled to the hopper shaking the material in the hopper preventing the material from sticking together.

摘要： A portable cigarette making machine which has a horizontal conveyor belt adapted to support a continuous strip of cigarette paper, paper forming means which engage the conveyor belt and cause it to fold the cigarette paper into a concave trough, a conveyor feed adapted to feed tobacco vertically into the cigarette paper trough, a rotary compactor adapted to roll the tobacco into a generally cylindrical rod in said cigarette paper trough, an adhesive applicator engaging one side edge of the cigarette paper, a final paper forming means which engages the conveyor belt and causes it to fold the cigarette paper around the tobacco rod to form a cigarette rod, and cut-off means for cutting the cigarette rod into cigarette lengths.The paper forming means comprises outer and inner formers, the outer former engaging the conveyor belt, the inner former engaging the paper, said inner former having a tubular section through which the tobacco is carried, said tubular section being open to the tobacco feed and the cigarette paper to provide direct tobacco flow therebetween, said tubular section being also open to the rotary compactor to provide direct contact between said compactor and the tobacco to form a tobacco rod. The conveyor feed is provided with a vertically extending, cleated conveyor belt which is synchronized with the horizontal conveyor belt and the rotary compactor, whereby the tobacco feed is metered in synchronization with the travel of the cigarette paper and the operation of the rotary compactor.

摘要： A curling device for a filter tip attachment comprises at least one blade-like element offered to a continuous strip of paper material at a selected contact zone in such a way as to deform the material as it advances, so that single tipping papers separated from the strip by a cutting unit of the attachment are given a curved profile and as a result more easily wrapped around and affixed to the assembled filters and cigarette sticks when these are joined together; the curling device also comprises a delivery system by which the contact zone is flooded with a cushioning fluid designed to favor a smooth sliding contact between the curling element and the running strip, and at the same time equalize the tensions in the strip preceding and following the contact zone.

摘要： A machine for rolling bulk material, such as fiber filters and tobacco, and wrapping a sheet member around the bulk material has a flexible apron connected to a roller bar which is rotated with an electric motor. The apron is located over a convex support between side walls having track slots for guiding the roller bar as it rolls up the apron and moves relative to the support. Bulk material placed on the apron adjacent the roller bar is rolled into a generally cylindrical shape within a sheet member as the apron moves over the support. The cylindrical product is discharged from the apron when the roller bar reaches the rear of the slots.

摘要： A device for making "rolled" cigarettes comprising a housing containing a plate and a shaft around which an endless belt passes. Slack in the belt forms a groove or cradle between the plate and the shaft and relative movement between the plate and the shaft enables the groove or cradle to be opened and closed. When the groove or cradle is open tobacco may be inserted or a rolled cigarette removed. When the groove or cradle is closed, the belt may be moved relative to the plate by the user to roll the tobacco in the groove in paper or other sheet material.

摘要： For the continuous production of the cigarette rod (10), the strip-like outer wrapper (12) and a tobacco strand (11) are provided on a forming belt (15) and conveyed, with the latter, through a rod-forming unit (13). Located within the latter is a forming bed (19) which, during transportation, deforms the forming belt (15) along with the outer wrapper (12) and the tobacco rod (11) so as to produce a cigarette rod (10). A compensating belt (21) is provided in order to avoid or reduce the friction of the forming belt on the forming bed (19), and said compensating belt circulates at reduced speed between the forming belt (15) and forming bed (19) The compensating belt (21) reduces the friction and dissipates (frictional) heat.
