摘要： A three-side trimmer according to the present invention comprises a bound material feed unit (2) for feeding the bound material (1) one by one; a rotating table unit (3) for receiving the bound material (1) from the bound material feed unit (2) at a predetermined position and rotating the bound material at every predetermined angle in such a manner that the bound material is arranged at three positions of a top edge cutting position, a front edge cutting position and a bottom edge cutting position; a trimming unit (4) arranged for movement in a direction close to or away from the rotating table unit (3) between two positions of a cutting position at which the trimming unit (4) becomes close to the rotating table unit (3) so as to cut a top edge section (1a), a bottom edge section (1b) and a front edge section (1c) of the bound material (1), respectively, and a standby position at which the trimming unit (4) is away from the rotating table unit (3); trimming unit guide means (5) arranged between the rotating table unit (3) and the trimming unit (4); drive means (6) for moving the trimming unit (4) along the trimming unit guide means (5) between the cutting position and the stand-by position; a control unit (7) for controlling the operation of each of the rotating table unit (3), the trimming unit (4) and the drive means (6), whereby the trimming unit (4) moves from the standby position to the cutting position for cutting the top edge section (1a), the front edge section (1c) and the bottom edge section (1b) of the bound material (1), respectively every time the bound material (1) is arranged at the top edge cutting position, front edge cutting position and the bottom edge cutting position; and receiving position changing means for shifting the position at which the rotating table unit (3) receives die bound material (1) from the bound material feed unit (2).

摘要： An infeed apparatus for a sheet material article trimmer includes a pusher element for moving a sheet material article to be trimmed on a front table of the trimmer and into engagement with a backstop of the front table. The pusher element is moved by a driver which moves the pusher element at the same speed as the front table for a period of time with the pusher element in engagement with a back edge portion of the sheet material article and the backstop in engagement with a front edge portion of the sheet material article. The period of time is at least as long as the time required for the front clamp to move through a distance corresponding to the difference in thickness between the thinnest sheet material article and the thickest sheet material article to grip the sheet material article against the front table.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for cutting stacked, sheet-like material, having a table surface which has a working zone, above which a cutting blade and a press beam are located, an entry zone behind the working zone for receiving the material to be cut and an exit zone in front of the working zone for receiving the cut material, a feed device for the material to be cut, which feed device has teeth which engage grooves of the press beam when the feed device is in its foremost position, and also a side stop for aligning the material to be cut by means of a pressing slide movable in the area of the working zone in the direction of the line of cut, where the feed device extends essentially over the entire width of the table surface, and the pressing slide is effective solely in the area of the working zone formed between the cutting plane and the foremost position of the feed device, thus allowing alignment of the material to be cut in direct proximity to the cutting plane.

摘要： The present invention is directed to an apparatus for advancing the leading edge of a corrugated web for positioning the web for a secondary operation, such as a cutting operation to cut a discrete sheet from the web. The web has a plurality of alternating peaks and valleys. The apparatus comprises an endless loop conveyor including a plurality of spaced support bars for contacting the valleys of the web. At least one vacuum source holds the web against the support bars. A motor and a distributed control system repeatedly advance the conveyor and the leading edge of the web from the entrance end to the exit end of the conveyor. A rotary encoder and a sensor sense the presence of a support bar near the position for applying the cutting operation. The vacuum source is de-activated, and at least one pressure source is activated to remove the cut sheet from the support bars. The de-activation of the vacuum source and the activation of the pressure source are done progressively from one end of the conveyor to the other to progressively remove the cut sheet from the conveyor.

摘要： A process for feeding fibres towards the fixed and mobile knives of a fibre cutter, such as a flock cutter, is provided which includes preparing a mattress of fibres aligned in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the vertical plane of the knife so that the mattress of fibres takes the form of a band. The band is conveyed in a step-by-step manner towards the knives while supporting the band adjacent the fixed knife so that its lower face and its lateral side faces are supported by planer support surfaces having a dimension significant in relation to the length of sections of fibres being cut. The step-by-step conveying is effected by bringing the band to a temporary standstill in relation to the support surfaces as the fibres are advanced towards the cutter.
