    摘要： A photo film cassette has a spool about which photo film is wound. A data disk is disposed near to an axial end of a core of the spool. To record a bar code on the data disk in manufacturing the photo film cassette, a hot stamping apparatus includes at least one spool holder for holding the spool in a slidable manner while the core is erect and the data disk is oriented upwards. A disk support supports the data disk. A slider shifts the disk support between a retracted position away from the spool holder and an advanced position close to the spool holder. The disk support in the advanced position is adapted to lift the data disk by contact with a bottom of the data disk. A hot stamping head is pressed against a top of the data disk, and records a bar code thereto. Cushion springs are biasing the disk support up toward the hot stamping head.

The device includes an arrangement for rotating the sub-frame formed by the arms from the operating position to an extended position, which has a portion of the arms extending out of the downstream end of the machine to enable exchanging bobbins.

    摘要： Apparatus attached to the reciprocating chase of a cylinder press for carrying one or more supply spools of a web of foil-carrying material, together with an adjustable computerized controller and web-pulling rollers associated with the cylinder press and responsive to the controller, for holding a portion of the foil-carrying web suspended above the chase and moving the foil-carrying web a predetermined distance after each impression from the foil onto print stock. An articulated support rack extends from the chase to a structure supporting the web-pulling rollers, to maintain tension in the web as the chase moves. The controller is adjustable to pull a preselectable incremental length of the web a preselectable number of times and to pull a different preselectable length of the web automatically after each group of such selectable number of pulls each having that incremental length.

    摘要： A coating apparatus in which a coating film is transferred from a film carrying roll leaf, onto the surface of a product. A positioning platform, together with a pressure member which acts against the platform, define a transfer station at which the roll leaf and product are concurrently aligned. A continuously moving and guided thermal belt preheats the foil sufficiently to effect separation of the roll leaf decorative layer from the carrier, and assure its transfer to the product surface.
