    Abstract: An image encoding method for an encoding system includes receiving a first image captured by a main camera and a second image captured by a sub camera provided in the same plane; comparing pixel values of pixels at first coordinates of each of the first and second images to obtain a first difference value; determining the first coordinates are in surface or back region in case of the first difference value is not more than or more than a first threshold value; pixel-shifting the second image by a first shift amount; and comparing the pixel value at the first coordinates of the first image with that of the second image after the pixel shift to obtain a second difference value, determining whether the first coordinates are in the surface or back region based on the second difference value, and recording into a second frame different from the first frame.

    Abstract: A display system comprising a display screen for displaying a stream of images, a viewer positioning module and an image generator module. The viewer positioning module is for determining a viewer's sightline by defining a first factor of the sightline as a lateral position of a viewer's body part located between the viewer's chin and the viewer's waistline, defining a second factor of the sightline as a depth position of the body part and computing the sightline based at least on the first factor and the second factor. The image generator module is for generating the stream of images considering the determined sightline. A method comprising defining the first factor, defining the second factor, computing the sightline based at least on the first factor and the second factor, generating the stream of images considering the determined sightline and displaying the stream of images on a first display screen.

    Abstract: A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a supporting member having a containment structure configured to contain a two-dimensional (2D) display terminal for displaying a parallax image. The display apparatus also includes a transflective device configured to face a display surface of the 2D display terminal and to transmit and reflect light from the displayed parallax image. Further, the display apparatus includes a connecting mechanism configured to connect the supporting member with the transflective device, wherein the containment structure includes an installation part configured to install a light-splitting device; an area of the light-splitting device is greater than or equal to an area of the display surface; and a three-dimensional (3D) image to be viewed is formed after the light from the parallax image displayed by the 2D display terminal is separated by the light-splitting device and transmitted and reflected by the transflective device.
