    摘要: An image forming method in which a recording head is step-driven by a stepping motor to perform vertical scanning, and a recording drum, around which a light-sensitive recording material is wound, is rotated to conduct horizontal scanning to form an image onto the light-sensitive recording material. In the image forming method, the horizontal scanning starts during residual vibration of the recording head after the stepping driving of the stepping motor stops and after a predetermined period of time from the start of the step driving. Accordingly, although horizontal-scanning lines meander due to the residual vibration, all of the horizontal-scanning lines are brought to their respective loci which are identical.

    摘要: The present invention provides a fixing seat of main transmission shaft of a scanner, wherein a conical hole is formed on the surface of a main transmission shaft whereon a scanning head can move, and a belt conveyor is used to wind around a timing pulley and an idle pulley. The timing pulley is driven to rotate by a motor device so that the belt conveyor can drive the scanning head to move on the main transmission shaft. One end of an axis of the timing pulley protruding out of the surface thereof forms a slanting conical end, which is fixed in the conical hole. The present invention has the advantages of high stability, good reliability, and a low manufacturing cost.

    摘要: The disclosure describes apparatus for reducing jitter in a facsimile system comprising a frame and a rotatable drum having a first end portion, a second end portion and an axis of rotation. A transducer is positioned near the drum in order to produce an image on a document carried by the drum. The first end portion of the drum is rotatably mounted to the frame through a selfaligning bearing. In order to rotate the drum, a DC motor is used to drive a gear reducing unit that is substantially free from backlash. The second end portion of the drum is coupled to the gear reducing unit by a rigid shaft. Resilient members support the shaft with respect to the frame so that any energy due to a component of movement of the shaft in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation is absorbed. A spring biases the transducer toward the drum so that the transducer can follow any eccentric movement of the drum due to alignment errors.

    摘要: A rotating drum recorder includes a rotatable mounted drum having a cylindrical outer surface and an internal cavity adapted to receive a strip of light-sensitive recording material. An exposure gate defines (1) an aperture extending through the cylindrical outer surface of the drum and (2) a radially inwardly-facing media-locating surface. A drive mechanism is adapted to transport a received strip of light-sensitive recording material through the exposure gate internal to the cylindrical outer surface of the drum, whereby centrifical force on the strip of light-sensitive recording material acts to press the strip of light-sensitive recording material against the media-locating surface of the exposure gate as the drum rotates. The exposure source includes a source of a collimated light beam and an electro-optic modulator between the source and the drum surface for varying the intensity of the collimated light beam. The modulator may include a lanthanum-doped lead zirconate titanate material, an LED light source, or a laser source. The internal cavity is adapted to receive a light-tight media container of light-sensitive recording media. The drive mechanism is located within the drum, and includes an electric storage battery within the drum. The drive mechanism is adapted to pull the recording media through the exposure gate away from the media-locating surface during transport.

    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for recording an image on a photosensitive material, wherein a recording drum 2 is enclosed with an enclosure 10 in which an opening 12 is provided in the direction of movement of a recording head 6. The opening 12 is covered with a light shield member 14 and the light shield member 14 is wound by winding shafts 24 and 26 at its both ends. To the light shield member 14 there is provided a through hole 16, into which an image forming lens 18 of the recording head 6 is inserted. Thus the recording head 6 is allowed to be movable and light shielding is effected only by the small-sized enclosure 10.

    摘要: A drum type image scanner includes a transparent cylinder 2, and a cylinder drive motor 16, which are concentrically and rigidly fixed with a bracket 18. The bracket 18 is fixed to a base 12 by connecting a key way 24 of the bracket 18 and another key way 42 of the base 12 with a key 46. An optical unit 10 is movable along a track rail 34 on the base 12. When the cylinder unit 4 and the optical unit 10 are attached to the base 12, the track rail 34 runs parallel to the axis of the cylinder 2 owing to the connection of the key ways 24 and 42. The structure eliminates troublesome adjustment for parallelism between the axis of the cylinder 2 and the track rail 34 and the concentricity of the cylinder 2 with the cylinder drive motor 16, thus simplifying attachment of the cylinder 2 to the drum type image scanner 1.
