The NPN transistor in the logical input section has its collector connected to the control gate of the memory cell, and logical input signals are applied to the emitter and base of the PNP transistor and the emitter of the NPN transistor in the logical input section, respectively.
Abstract:
This specification discloses a high voltage switching system for driving the screen of a color television picture tube in order to generate different color images on the screen thereof in accordance with different video signals. The switching system comprises a transformer, which is connected into a resonant circuit with the capacitance provided by the screen of the color television system. The inductance provided by the transformer is periodically switched between low and high inductance and simultaneously with the switching, energy is coupled into and out of the resonant circuit to generate a step waveform across the capacitance provided by the screen of the picture tube.
Abstract:
A frequency divider circuit which allows to divide the input signal in the ratio of factor two or higher. The circuit mainly consists of thyristor systems and does not necessarily need capacitors to store the operating situation of the circuitry. The current paths are arranged in such a manner that only one current path is conducting at a time.
Abstract:
A time delay relay of the type in which a semiconductor switching element is made conductive after a predetermined time by a RC time constant circuit so as to actuate a relay connected in series with the semiconductor switching element with respect to a power source. The RC time constant circuit is connected to the semiconductor switching element through a transistor element and, among leakage current of the semiconductor switching element, the current flowing through resistor of the RC time constant circuit is restrained to be low utilizing amplifying action of the transistor element, thereby enabling a delaying action for a long time period.
Abstract:
A bistable circuit in which a normally unactuated silicon controlled rectifier is serially connected with a fixed resistor and the coil of a relay. Depression of a control switch forward biases the gate of the rectifier to initiate conduction and the subsequent release of the control switch shorts out the series resistor to actuate the relay. Actuation of the relay connects the control switch across the rectifier and a subsequent depression of the switch stops conduction through the rectifier. Release of the control switch then deactuates the relay.
