Abstract:
A submersible electrical connector that includes a first mating component that has a housing with at least one port that has a cable termination end and an opposite interface end, and the port defines a cavity that supports at least one first contact. A second mating component has a housing with at least one port that has a cable termination end and an opposite interface end configured to engage the interface end of the first mating component, and the port of the second mating component defines a cavity that supports at least one second contact configured to engage the at least one first contact. A rail engagement is disposed on at least one of the first and second mating components for mounting the connector on a DIN rail.
Abstract:
A clamping device for mounting a base module on a DIN rail is disclosed. The clamping device includes a clamp base, actuator screws, push plates, clamping hooks, and springs. The clamp base is having a planar portion and side walls. The side walls of the clamp base is provided with serrations that indent into DIN rail flange. Further, the planar portion is provided with an aperture for affixing the clamp base to the base module. The pair of actuator screws rotate and pass through the planar portion of the clamp base for facilitating movement thereof with respect to the clamp base. Each push plate is secured to a corresponding actuator screw and is adapted to be either in lifted or seated configuration based on movement of the actuator screw. Each clamping hook includes a first end supported by corresponding push plate and second end movable between engaged disengaged configuration.
Abstract:
An installation device includes connecting modules which, are easy to replace under aggravated conditions of access, while requiring little space. The device is provided with a retaining device for a supporting structure to be coupled thereto and additionally with a housing with integrated module slots for the connecting modules. In order to specifically assign the connecting modules to the module slots, the device is provided with one coding device for each module slot and one mating coding device for each connecting module. The device is also provided with one snap-in device on at least one of the module slots and one mating snap-in device on at least one of the connecting modules to lock and unlock the connecting modules in the corresponding module slots. One contact element each having a long side is provided for each module slot and one connecting module each is provided with one mating contact element, the contact elements being contacted with the mating contact element at an angle to its long side.
Abstract:
An electrical terminal block, especially for locking onto a mounting rail, has a plurality of adjacent base terminals and connectors. Each base terminal has a terminal housing, with at least one conductor terminal element and at least one receptacle electrically connected to the conductor terminal element or at least two interconnected receptacles. The individual connectors have a connector housing, with at least one conductor terminal element and a plug-in contact electrically connected to the conductor terminal element. The individual connectors can be plugged onto the individual terminal housings. Reliable mechanical fixing of the connectors on the base terminals is ensured since each outer side of the base terminals has a fixing device on the terminal housing. Sides of adjacent connectors have a fixing cover with a fixing mechanism corresponding to the fixing device, so that the connectors can be mechanically connected to the fixing base terminals via the fixing covers.
