    摘要: A color cathode ray tube includes an electron gun having an electron beam generating portion arrayed in a horizontal direction for generating three electron beams, and a main lens for focusing the three electron beams upon a fluorescent face, and a deflection yoke for scanning the three electron beams. The main lens has electrodes with three electron beams passages including a central electron beam passage and side electron beam passages. The main lens includes an accelerating electrode supplied with an accelerating voltage, a first focusing electrode supplied with a first focusing voltage, and a second focusing electrode supplied with a second focusing voltage. An axially asymmetric electron lens is formed between the first focusing electrode and the second focusing electrode.

    摘要: A focusing electrode in an electron gun for a color cathode ray tube comprises: a first focusing electrode including one end with vertical plate electrodes projected toward cathodes in three vertically elongated electron beam through holes, and an inner electrode having three electron beam through holes disposed therein, adapted to be applied of a static voltage; and a second focusing electrode including horizontal plate electrodes respectively formed at upper and lower sides of three electron beam through holes inserted into the vertically elongated electron beam through holes in the first focussing electrode, adapted to be applied of a dynamic voltage synchronous to a deflection of the electron beams, wherein a dynamic quadrupole lens is formed among the vertical plate electrodes, the horizontal plate electrodes, and the inner electrode when applying the dynamic voltage to the second focusing electrode, and the intensity of the dynamic quadrupole lens can be controlled by controlling the depth of the inner electrode which is mounted in the first focusing electrode.

    摘要: An electron gun for a cathode ray tube includes a triode composed of a cathode, a controlling electrode, and a screen electrode. A pre-focusing electrode is provided and supplied with a first voltage for pre-focusing electron beams emitted from the triode. A first auxiliary electrode is provided and supplied with a second voltage which is also supplied to the screen electrode. A second auxiliary electrode is provided and supplied with a third voltage which is also applied to the controlling electrode. The applied voltages create divergent lenses between the focusing electrode and the first auxiliary electrode and between the first and second auxiliary electrode. A main focusing electrode is provided and supplied with the first voltage like the pre-focusing electrode. A converging lens is formed between the second auxiliary electrode and the main lens. A final accelerating electrode is installed adjacent to the main focusing electrode and supplied with a fourth voltage. A main lens is formed between the main focusing electrode and the final accelerating electrode. The electron gun for a cathode ray tube enables uniform electron beam cross-sections throughout the fluorescent film.

    摘要: An electron gun body for a color cathode ray tube includes an electron beam forming region formed by cathodes, first and second grids, and a main focusing lens having first and second accelerating and focusing electrodes for substantially focusing three electron beams from the electron beam forming region. The first and second accelerating and focusing electrodes are provided with through holes for passing the three electron beams and upper rims respectively bent from the outer circumferences of the electrodes toward the through holes, in which a first inclined extension electrode having a vertically-provided sloped portion and bottom portion, and a center hole opened to reach a bent plane of the sloped portion in the bottom portion is installed into the first accelerating and focusing electrode to fix one side of the first inclined extension electrode to connect with an inwardly-bent portion of the one upper rim, and a second inclined extension electrode having projections parallel in both directions on the same plane of a head portion is installed into the second accelerating and focusing electrode, while forming the vertical inner diameter of the projection to be smaller than that of the upper rim, to fix one side of the second inclined extension electrode to connect with an inwardly-bent portion of the other upper rim. Thus, astigmatism is eliminated without using a separate correction electrode to improve resolution on the periphery of a screen.
