    摘要: A multi-mode air compressor pressure switch is disclosed. A first mode of operation of the switch has a first range that includes a first cut-out pressure and a first cut-in pressure. A second mode of operation of the switch has a second range that includes a second cut-out pressure and a second cut-in pressure. The second range is smaller than the first range. The second mode of operation adds compressor output over the first mode of operation to extend operable time of a tool that is connected to a compressor that is controlled by the first mode and the second mode.

    摘要: An airflow speed detection device for measuring an airflow speed includes an airflow speed switch, and a connector. The airflow speed switch includes a detection head, and an elastic piece. The connector is electrically connected to the testing the airflow speed switch to connect an indicator to indicate close and open states of the airflow speed switch. If the airflow speed is not faster than a critical value, the elastic piece contacts the detection head to close the airflow speed switch. If the airflow speed is faster than the critical value, the elastic piece is blown away from the detection head to open the airflow speed switch.

    摘要: A hydraulic pressure switch apparatus includes a porous disc directly installed at a media entry port for dampening and filtration purposes. The porous disc includes a number of pores that are connected together and to the surface of the porous disc for allowing media to flow into a base fitting. The media exerts pressure on a piston associated with the base fitting, which in turn is capable of being absorbed by a compression spring. The compression spring transfers a required motion to a plunger associated with a micro switch in order to provide on/off switching capabilities. Electrical indications can then be transferred to a vehicle control unit utilizing a termination connector, based on particular user requirements. The porous disc can be utilized to dampen the pressure spikes and surges, which significantly prolong the life of the pressure switch apparatus in harsh applications.

    摘要: A inflatable product for an inflatable body includes a casing with an airway adapted to communicate with an interior of the inflatable body, and a resilient element movably positioned inside the casing to define with the easing a space therebetween. An on/off switch is adapted to connect to an air pump. A driving element is movably positioned inside the casing to be in response to the movement of the resilient element so as to selectively activate the on/off switch to activate the air pump. A recoil element is positioned around the driving element and has a distal end which is abutted against the resilient element. The spring is compressed/decompressed when the resilient element moves in response to pressure inside the inflatable body so that activation/deactivation of the on/off switch is controlled via the movement of the resilient element as well as the compression of the spring.

    摘要: Sensors for mounting in fluid chambers respond electrically to low pressures in the fluid, while resisting damage or leakage at high pressures. A flexible diaphragm, mounted at one end of a housing, is sandwiched between first and second annuli, leaving a center portion free to move in response to fluid pressure changes. The diaphragm moves a cylinder, which reciprocates in the second annulus against an adjustable spring bias. Travel of the cylinder away from the fluid is limited by a stop. Once the stop is reached, increased pressure on the diaphragm forces it against a fixed wall composed of a face of the second annulus and a face of the cylinder. The forces on the diaphragm are then all compressive. This enables the use of an easily flexed diaphragm for low pressure sensitivity, while resisting damage from high pressures. The moving cylinder is used to move a magnet that actuates a Hall effect switch, a Hall effect analog output transducer, or a reed switch. In alternative embodiments, the cylinder actuates a mechanical switch or variable resistor.

    摘要: A pressure switch has a housing with a mounting bracket and a flexible diaphragm defining a wall of the pressure sensing cavity in the housing. Movement of the diaphragm operates an electric switch. The diaphragm is spring biased and an adjustment arm is frictionally mounted in a pair of guide surfaces on the mounting bracket. The arm contacts a cap on one end of the bias spring and is movable in the guide surfaces for adjusting the position of the spring cap for calibration. The mounting bracket is mounted to the housing by inserting a lug on the bracket in a recess in the housing and crimping a folded tab on the bracket to engage another recess in the housing. In another embodiment using a housing of all molded plastic, the adjustment arm frictionally engages a slot molded in the housing and is moved in the slot for calibration.

A rotary cam drum is provided in the housing with an external shaft for changing the setting. An adjustment lever has a bifurcated portion nested about the inner periphery of the cam drum and a threaded external adjustment is provided for moving the lever position against the spring capsule for calibration. The pressure switch is completely assembled from one side of the housing.
