    摘要: An electromagnetic actuating apparatus, in particular a proportional magnet or switching magnet, includes a magnet armature (4) guided for axial movement in a pole tube (2). The pole tube is at least partially surrounded by a coil winding and is adjoined by a pole core (10) via a separating region (20) forming a magnetic decoupling. On energization of the coil winding (52), a magnetic force acts on the armature (4) to move the armature (4) in the direction of the pole core (10) within a travel area. At least one insert (28) of ferromagnetic material with a preset axial thickness is between the armature (4) and the pole core (10) to shorten, as desired, the axial length of the travel area.

    摘要: A solenoid includes: a coil wound around a bobbin; a case section accommodating the coil; a tubular yoke arranged on an inner circumferential portion of the coil; and a plunger arranged on an inner circumferential portion of the yoke, and moving from a start position along an axial direction of the yoke by magnetic attraction force generated in the yoke, wherein a diameter increasing portion whose diameter is increased from the start position toward a lower part in the axial direction is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the yoke, and the diameter increasing portion overlaps at least a part of a moving region of a lower-part side end portion of the plunger, and wherein an inner circumferential surface of the yoke guides the movement of the plunger and the yoke includes a contact member that regulates the movement of the plunger on the inner circumferential surface.

    摘要: Electromagnetic actuators capable of generating a symmetrical bidirectional force are disclosed. The electromagnetic actuators include a housing made of a ferromagnetic material and a shaft made of a magnetically inert material movable along an axis within the housing. In one type of actuator, captive permanent magnets are arranged on opposite interior end walls of the housing and an electromagnetic coil is mounted on a central portion of the shaft. The electromagnetic coil is capable of generating a force when energized that causes linear displacement of the shaft in either direction along its axis depending on the direction of current through the electromagnetic coil. In another type of actuator, captive electromagnetic coils are arranged on opposing inner end walls of the housing, and a permanent magnet is mounted on a central portion of the shaft. The electromagnetic coils are capable of generating a force when energized that causes linear displacement of the shaft in either direction along its axis depending on a direction of current through the electromagnetic coils.

    摘要: An adjustable solenoid assembly with an adjustable threaded pole having an interference fit section to be used with a complementary threaded receiver (e.g., the bore of the top plate) with an interference fit section. The adjustable threaded sections are used to pull or push the interference fit sections together and allow for precise locating of the interference fit sections and adjustment. The threaded pole may be used to set and maintain a precision working air gap between the pole piece and the plunger of the electromagnetic solenoid assembly. The interference fit holds the pole piece into location while still allowing the solenoid to be adjustable without a loss in flux density.
