Abstract:
A visual image display board according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a horizontal base and a display board. The display board includes a front surface, a back surface, a left side, a right side, an upper side and a bottom side. The bottom side of the display board is coupled to the horizontal base. An adhesive layer is disposed between the bottom side of the display board and the horizontal base. The adhesive layer couples the display board to the horizontal base. One or more photographs are conformally disposed on the front surface of the display board. A shape of the one or more photographs substantially corresponds with a shape of the display board.
Abstract:
A pivoting pop up article and method of making has a hinge fold positioned between a front cover and a rear cover. A displacement leaf includes a base, a leg and a tab. A base leaf couple secures the base of the displacement leaf to the front cover. The base is offset relative to the hinge fold for defining a base offset dimension between the hinge fold and the base. A first interior couple secures an interior leaf to the rear cover. A second interior couple secures the interior leaf to the rear cover. The first interior couple and the second interior couple define a channel between the rear cover and the interior leaf. The base offset dimension causes the displacement leaf to be pivoted within the channel during pivoting the front cover between a closed position and an open position for extending the tab above the rear cover.
Abstract:
The present invention is a card that stands perpendicular to a horizontal surface. The card is made up of a single piece of material on which graphic images and letters have been printed and which has been specially shaped and pre-creased to enable a recipient to fold the base part of it so that the display part will rise up perpendicular to or at a raked angle from the horizontal surface on which it is placed. The single piece of material has no removed portions within an external outer edge of the material, capable of forming open apertures; The business/greeting/advertising display card stands upright to a horizontal surface within a line of sight of a viewer. Optionally the straight bottom may have an arcuate surface, capable of making the novelty card oscillate when manually pushed in a rocking side to side motion.
Abstract:
An article such as a greeting card (10) comprising a sheet (11) defining at least one central portion (16) and at least one versatile portion (18) connected together via at least one fold (20). The central portion (16) has two opposing edges (26, 28) adapted to be drawn together to create a three-dimensional form. The fold (20) is located at a junction of the central portion (16) and versatile portion (18). These portions (16, 18) are foldably connected together whereby the versatile portion (18) can be folded and adapted for location adjacent to or at an angle to the three-dimensional form, and may be secured at that location. The greeting card (10) may further comprise numerous engagement means (30, 32), apertures (38) and cords (39). The greeting card (10) can be delivered in a collapsed condition and can be readily assembled into a three-dimensional form revealing the ingenuity of the card.
Abstract:
An interactive electronic greeting card with pop-up feature includes a pocket or cavity which houses various electronic and mechanical components and a pop-up element. In a first position, the pop-up element is substantially contained within the greeting card pocket or cavity. When the push button is depressed, the pop-up element is ejected or “pops up” out of the greeting card pocket or cavity, revealing a greeting or other printed indicia, a mobile object or a gift card attached thereto. The push button also initiates playback of a pre-loaded digital audio file, which may be a spoken message, a sound, a song, music or other such audio recording.
Abstract:
An article comprising a pop-up card is provided. The article comprises a single sheet of paper including a single crease and separating the sheet of paper into a left panel and a right panel, wherein the sheet is in a closed position when folded along the crease, and wherein the sheet is in the open position when not folded along the crease, a pop-up sliceform element coupled to said sheet, wherein the sliceform includes a first plurality of sliceform elements perpendicular to a second plurality of sliceform elements when in the open position, wherein the sliceform element comprises a first and last sliceform element each with a distal tab, and wherein in the open position the pop-up sliceform element is displayed as a three-dimensional configuration, and in the closed position said pop-up sliceform element folds together into a flat configuration.
Abstract:
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a greeting card is disclosed that includes a plurality of panels connected such that the greeting card is reconfigurable between a closed configuration and an open configuration, at least one object positioned between the plurality of panels that is reconfigurable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, and an attachment member connecting the at least one object to the plurality of panels such that the at least one object can be detached from the plurality of panels. In various embodiments, the greeting card may further include a locking member that is configured and dimensioned to maintain the expanded configuration of the at least one object.

Abstract:
Three-dimensional lightweight foam greeting cards are described herein having a foam body with a perimeter wall that extends between two spaced apart parallel pieces of planar sheet material such as heavy gauge paper, cardboard, or other such material. The greeting cards have a partially hollowed foam body or one or more cavities in the foam body concealed in the front and back by the planar sheet material which may be pre-cut in the shape of the foam body are decorated consistent with the design of the foam body. The cavities in the foam body may contain various electronic components that enable the greeting card to produce sound, record and playback a personalized message, trigger light activation, trigger the movement of moveable parts, display digital video, photographs or slideshows, or a combination thereof.
