摘要: Technology is described herein for facilitating a user's interaction with a digital ink document. The technology internally represents the ink document using a data structure having a hierarchy of nodes. The nodes describe respective elements in the ink document. The technology leverages the data structure to identify a set of nodes that grows upon the user's repeated selection of a particular part of the ink document. At each stage of the selection, the technology highlights a set of elements in the ink document that correspond to the current set of identified nodes. According to another illustrative aspect, the technology produces the data structure by modifying an original data structure provided by a text analysis engine. The technology performs this task with the objective of accommodating structured interaction by the user with the ink document.

摘要: An apparatus for decoding and rendering or otherwise processing, manipulating, or outputting a variety of digital data is provided. The apparatus may include a browser engine configured to receive first encoded digital data. The apparatus may include a browser extension configured to intercept the first encoded digital data transmitted in response to a first request from the browser engine. The browser extension may be configured to intercept a first decoder written in a platform-independent syntax for decoding at least a portion of the first encoded digital data. The browser extension may be configured to point the browser engine to one or more local storage locations of the first encoded digital data and the first decoder.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for enhancing text-based electronic communications. In one embodiment, a sending agent automatically, or upon request by a user, disambiguates identifiers and terms included in a communication internally or in collaboration with a remote device or server based on the identity and history of the sending or intended receiving device or user, the content or context of the communication and/or the sending or intended receiving device or user and automatically or at the request of the sender, appends, enhances or provides certain additional information related to the identifier or terms to the message in real time. This additional information is then included or referenced, but not necessarily initially displayed or communicated, in the communication. The integrated system also may include a receiving agent on the receiving device that can disambiguate the identifier or terms and provide additional information and services related to the identifier or terms in the communication.

摘要: A collection of well-formed, but possibly semantically invalid, binary encoded multimedia data components or packages as well as the binary encoded announcement, signaling, and interchange protocols used in their transmission are converted into one or more well-formed extensible markup language (XML) files. Such XML files may then be validated according to one or more pre-defined XML schemas, or similar schema languages, in order to verify that the data and protocol structures and substructures adhere to prior defined semantic constraints.

Sending and receiving agents analyze and enhance terms included in search requests and communications based on micro-location and other terms, which may include one or more imbedded shortcodes. The intelligent agents and imbedded shortcodes are designed for voice search to facilitate to communications and use more precise micro-locations for proximity and other searches and communications, including current and projected location of one or more users or devices. The smart agents further use known or ascertainable information about the users, search, communications, and use, including the identity of the users and any and all contexts of the use.

In some embodiments, a regular expression generator may receive input data comprising one or more character sequences. The regular expression generator may convert character sequences into a sets of regular expression codes and/or span data structures. The regular expression generator may identify a longest common subsequence shared by the sets of regular expression codes and/or spans, and may generate a regular expression based upon the longest common subsequence.

摘要: Job report objects (Java objects) are created by task executors in connection with implementation of a job on a storage system. The Java objects are passed to a job report service that converts the Java objects into XML objects using an XML encoder/decoder. The XML objects are persisted by the job report service as text in a database. If a job report is requested, the job report service retrieves a job record for the corresponding report from the database, creates Java objects, and passes the Java objects to a storage system management client. The client creates an internal model of the report containing a corresponding set of strongly typed TypeScript objects. The TypeScript objects are passed to a pdf data exporter that converts the internal TypeScript objects into untyped JavaScript objects. The untyped JavaScript objects are input to a .pdf generator which generates the requested report as a .pdf document.
