    摘要: A data processing apparatus to acquire a job from an external apparatus via a network and process the job includes a storage unit, a selection unit, and a processing unit. The job includes a data and setting information to process the data. The storage unit stores a plurality of processing modules. The selection unit selects a plurality of processing modules to be used in processing the data, from the plurality of processing modules, based on setting information included in the job. The processing unit causes the selected plurality of processing modules to sequentially perform processing on the data. In a case where processing is to be sequential performed by a first processing module and then a second processing module included in the selected plurality of processing modules, the processing unit inputs information processed by the first processing module into the second processing module.

    摘要: A method is provided for improving printing performance of a print job from a Graphics Device Interface (GDI) based Windows® application submitted to an XPSDrv printer driver which is utilized by a filter pipeline service, wherein a required conversion from an existing GDI/device driver interface (DDI) to an XML Paper Specification (XPS) performed by a GDI-to-XPS conversion unit is eliminated to reduce latency. The method includes replacing the GDI-to-XPS conversion unit with a printer graphics driver which converts DDI calls into raw spool data; and adding a dual head filter as a first filter to the filter pipeline service to handle the raw spool data generated from the printer graphics driver.
