Abstract: A night light includes an electro-luminescent element connected to an electrical plug by conductive elements compressed between electrodes of the electro-luminescent element and prongs of the electrical plug. The electro-luminescent element is captured between an inner plate and a front part of the housing so as to cause the electro-luminescent element to conform to a curved surface of the housing without the need for additional plastic housing material, the inner plate also serving to apply a biasing force against the conductive elements.
