摘要： Spill and contaminant resistant dispensers and measuring cap devices and methods for measuring and dispensing a desired amount of a bulk particulate, powdery, granular or viscous liquid substance from a storage container through a cap or a dispenser are provided. A dispenser and measuring cap is attached to a storage container or comprises an integral storage container. The dispenser and measuring cap has one or more measuring chamber ducts, each having a different predetermined volume. The measuring chamber ducts are selectively and separately operationally aligned with an internal funnel stem and a dispensing spout. A selected measuring chamber duct is filled with the substance by inverting the cap and attached container. A measured amount of the substance is captured and dispensed, and the unused portion of the substance retained in the storage container without exposure to outside contaminants or implements, by rotating the duct into operational alignment with the spout.

摘要： An automatic feeder for tropical fish comprises a rotatable container containing granular feed and a driving device for rotating the container only at preselected times to discharge a predetermined amount of feed from the container. A switch turns on a drive motor at the preselected times to rotate the container, and a pre-settable timer controls the actuation of the switch. The container has a rectangular shape and is divided into a feed-receiving portion and a feed-discharge portion which communicate with each other through an adjustable opening. Rotation of the container through one revolution causes a predetermined amount of feed to flow from the feed-receiving portion through the opening into the feed-discharge portion for discharge from the container.

The system includes seed meter cartridges, each having a housing, a meter wheel, and a variable speed electric motor operatively connected to the seed meter cartridge. 摘要： A method for a metering and dispensing device for free flowing materials includes a volume body having first and second ends, and a volumetric channel extending therethrough. The second end of the volume body is adapted for attachment to the opening of a container holding the free flowing material. The device further includes a measuring partition operatively associated with the second end of the volume body. The measuring partition includes a barrier lip portion extending therefrom into the volumetric channel, and a measuring opening selectively movable from a closed position to an open position relative to the volumetric channel, wherein the selective movement of the measuring opening simultaneously causes the barrier lip portion to vary the volume of the volumetric channel relative to the measuring opening. The device further includes a feed partition proximate the second end of the volume body, operatively associated with the measuring partition, the feed partition including a feed opening selectively movable from a closed position to an open position relative to the measuring opening. The device also includes a discharge partition operatively associated with the first end of the volume body, which includes a discharge opening selectively movable from a closed position to an open position relative to the volumetric channel.
