Abstract: The present invention provides a rear gun rest that can be attached to a stock of a firearm in a permanent fashion. The rear gun rest remains on the firearm with minimal interference with the use of the firearm. The rear gun rest includes a main tube pivotally connected to said stock. The main tube includes a pivot pin as part of the main tube, a retaining pin as part of the main tube and at least one tension spring connected between said pivot pin and said retaining pin. The pivot pin allows the pivoting of the main tube. The tension spring aids in retaining the main tube in a desired position. The rear gun rest also includes an extension tube and a fine adjustment rod for adjusting the height of the stock. The extension tube is extendible from the main tube. The fine adjustment rod is extendible from the extension tube.

Abstract: A combination gun rest, pivoting hunting stool, and wading stick device particularly for use by duck hunting enthusiasts is disclosed. This multi-function apparatus includes a ground-engaging gun rest which independently supports a shot gun or rifle in a generally upright position. A duck hunter's stool including a cross-shaped base support with a ground-engaging member and a detachable seat member provide the hunter with a 360.degree. field of view from a seated position. The seat member is provided with suitable hardware to permit it to be stored on the tubular support member of the stool. The gun support is inserted within the tubular support member of the stool and locked in position such that the entire assembly functions as a wading stick to assist the hunter in maintaining balance when walking through a wetland or shallow water environment. The present device is lightweight and compact for convenient transport and storage.

Abstract: A novel armored tank vehicle with antiaircraft armament is disclosed, such vehicle having at least one antiaircraft gun, a search radar means and a target-tracking radar-aiming means all mounted on a freely rotatable turret, at least one optical periscope being inserted in the turret cover. In the interior of the turret, seats are provided for the operating crew as are periscope oculars and, beneath such oculars, consoles with radar screens. Also provided in the interior of the turret is a firing computer functioning to automatically determine the firing parameters for the guns in dependence upon the target location data as continuously determined by the target-tracking radaraiming means. Further provided within the interior of the turret are manually operable means as well as ammunition storage areas for the guns. All of the above components are provided in such a manner that the armored vehicle comprises a completely autonomous automotive and armored weapon system for weather-independent antiaircraft operations by mobile fighting units.
