Abstract:
An LED light fixture assembly includes an LED light housing and an installation bracket. The LED light housing has a first side configured to convey light from an interior of the light housing to an exterior of the light housing. The first side defines a bottom side of the LED light housing when installed in a ceiling, and has a first width. The installation bracket is coupled to the LED light housing, and includes a first arm and a second arm. The first arm includes at least a portion flaring out from and extending downward from a first location of the LED light housing. The first arm is plastically deformable to facilitate insertion into an opening having a width that is less than a width between a first point on the first arm and a second point on the second arm on a same horizontal plane.
Abstract:
In an interior member for a vehicle, a lens extends along a light guide member, and is provided with a groove receiving the light guide member therein, a first engaging portion provided on a wall that defines the groove, and a second engaging portion provided on a wall that defines the groove, and the interior member main body is provided with a first engaged portion engaged by the first engaging portion, and a second engaged portion engaged by the second engaging portion, the lens being resiliently deformable so as to bring the walls defining the groove toward each other.
Abstract:
Apparatus and systems for a self-contained and portable LED lamp, providing bug deterrent capabilities and a limited number of ambient light settings, are described herein. A battery may be electrically coupled to a LED and configured to produce power. The LED may include lighting chip controls, which may cause the LED to emit light corresponding to one or more of: ambient white light or an insect deterrence light, where light emission of the LED is limited to: a maximum of three ambient white light settings, and one or more insect deterrence settings. A switch may be configured to transition between the maximum of three ambient white light settings and the one or more insect deterrence settings.

Abstract:
An optical device includes a clamp seat and a light tuning assembly. The clamp seat includes a base, a curved potion extending from the base, and a pressing portion extending from the curved portion. The light tuning assembly includes a support frame disposed at the base, an optical lens restrained by the support frame, and an adjusting member coordinating with the optical lens. In an application of the optical device, a user may clamp a multimedia mobile communication device by the base and the pressing portion to allow the optical lens to align with a light projecting assembly of the multimedia mobile communication device. The adjusting member is rotated to adjust a distance between the optical lens and the light projecting assembly. Light from the light projecting assembly is then focused or dispersed through the optical lens to solve an issue of unadjustable light of a conventional solution.
Abstract:
Lighting fixtures providing light-weight construction and displaying reduced visibility of underlying support elements. The lighting fixtures include a non-opaque, polymer-based frame that provides structure without producing a substantial shadow on the outer display surface thereof when illuminated from the inside. The frame is attached to and extends from a rigid support element, and a lighting element disposed between the support element and the display surface reduces a shadow of the support element from being cast on the display surface. The frame can wrap around and conceal the support element from a first vantage point. The lighting fixture can also be decorated with one or more design elements connected to the display surface of the frame. The lighting fixture can be produced by thermoforming a polymeric substrate into a three-dimensional structural frame and connecting the frame at one end to the support element.
Abstract:
A lighting apparatus includes a housing with a front surface member that has a rectangular opening. A light refracting member is installed within the rectangular opening, and the light refracting member includes a flat front face that is mounted substantially flush with the front surface member of the housing. A lighting source is installed within the housing and is configured to emit light towards the light refracting member. The lighting source includes a support body with an aperture within which one or more light emitters are installed. The light refracting member also includes a rear face that is defined by a convex lens structure that rearwardly extends into the aperture of the support body and extends longitudinally parallel to a longer dimension of the rectangular opening.
Abstract:
The invention is a household lamp switch extension apparatus that makes it easy for a user to reach across the top of the lamp shade to turn on the lamp. This keeps the user from having to bend over and awkwardly look for or blindly grope for the lamp switch that to the typical user appears hidden within the lamp shade. Various embodiments of the apparatus can work with standard on and off switches that operate by rotation of a knob, by pulling a chain, or by pushing a small button. The apparatus has a vertical member that extends a twist knob to a position at or near the top of the typical lamp shade and that connects to a horizontal member that interacts with the on and off switch for the lamp.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a unitary gasket-reflector for use in light sources having at least one reflector and at least one gasket to seal the inside of the light sources against the elements.
