Abstract:
A cord wrapping mechanism converts linear motion to circular motion for use in coverings for architectural openings. The cord is guided onto a spool.
Abstract:
A cord drive mechanism to convert linear motion to circular motion for use in coverings for architectural openings. Various controls are used to provide a braking force on the cord. Some of the embodiments incorporate a capstan.
Abstract:
A motorized window treatment can include a headrail that is configured to be mounted to a structure. A covering material can be attached to the headrail and configured to be raised and lowered by a pair of lift cords that are operatively attached to a lift mechanism. The treatment can also include a bottom bar that is attached to an opposite end of the covering material as the headrail. The bottom bar can define a channel, which can house a sliding member that is configured to move along the bottom bar and is coupled to the ends of the lift cords. By sliding along the channel, the sliding member allows the lengths of the lift cords to change with respect to one another such that when a force is applied to the bottom bar the bottom bar will move from an unleveled position to a leveled position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for winding up and unwinding raising cords of a screen, comprising: an elongate housing (2); a shaft (3) intended for rotation in the housing; a number of winding rollers (4) which are coaxially mountable on the shaft for winding up and unwinding the raising cords (5) and which are adapted for releasable fastening of the raising cords; a number of winding roller holders (6) for bearing-mounted support of the winding rollers, which winding roller holders are adapted to be received in the housing. The device further comprises a number of blocking elements (10), each arranged on one of the winding rollers, for blocking one of the degrees of freedom of movement of the winding rollers, wherein each blocking element is movable between an assembly position, in which the respective winding roller is blocked against rotation, and a position of use in which the respective winding roller is blocked against translation, wherein the blocking elements are adapted for releasable fastening of one of the raising cords.
Abstract:
A device for winding a suspension cord of a blind is provided to wind a suspension cord disposed on a blind. The suspension cord is spirally wound about a cord spool through a spiral guide groove of a guide component, and then arranged along the cord spool in sequence. Additionally, when the cord spool is connected to a power resilient element as a power source of rotation, friction force is applied to the cord spool through an adjusting component to adjust the output torque of the cord spool, such that the torque applied to the cord spool by the power resilient element can be balanced out with the torque applied to the cord spool by the gravity of the blind.
Abstract:
A Venetian blind includes a control, a square transmission shaft joined to the control, an external tube, and a reel tube having an external spiral groove, along which a lift cord is wound; the external tube has two elongate protrusions parallel to an axis thereof on an outer side; the elongate protrusions define a tunnel in between, and have opposing gaps on the edges thereof, and they are formed with such a shape that a lengthways-extending aperture is provided between edges thereof; a tilt cord is passed over, and joined to the external tube with a middle knot thereof being detained in the tunnel of the external tube, and with two ends thereof being passed through the gaps of the elongate protrusions of the external tube; thus, the tilt cord will always move together with the external tube.
Abstract:
A cordless cellular or pleated window shade having a head rail, a bottom rail and a pleated shade fabric therebetween uses a conventional spring tensioned roller shade bar for raising and lowering the shade without draw cords. A lead screw permanently affixed to an end cap of the head rail threadingly engages one end of the roller shade bar while the opposite end of the roller shade bar has a movable support locking the spring tensioner of the roller shade bar to the support to permit movement of the roller shade bar within the head rail. Lift cords wrap and unwrap themselves about the roller shade bar so that lowering of the shade tensions the spring which spring tension is then used to raise the pleated or cellular shade. The pitch of the lead screw forces the lift cords to wrap themselves about the shade roller bar in a singular, non-overlying manner while the roller shade bar moves within the head rail thereby assuring consistent alignment of the bottom rail with the head rail at any shade position.
Abstract:
A control system for a window shade includes a suspension member, a first and a second casing portion, a rotary drum, a torsion spring, a coupling member, a transmission axle, a central gear, a ring and planetary gears. The rotary drum is pivotally connected with the first casing portion, and is rotatable to wind and unwind the suspension member. The torsion spring can bias the rotary drum for winding the suspension member, and has a first and a second end respectively affixed with the second casing portion and a coupling member. The transmission axle is disposed through the torsion spring, and is rotationally coupled with the rotary drum and the central gear. The ring is affixed with the second casing portion and has protruding teeth. The planetary gears are pivotally supported by the coupling member, and are respectively meshed with the central gear and the teeth of the ring.
Abstract:
A control device for controlling blinds up and down includes a case and a shaft is rotatably located in the case. A coil spring is located in a reception box in the case and has a connection end which extends through the wall of the reception box and is connected to a mandrel. The shaft securely extends through a passage of the mandrel which is co-rotatable with the shaft. A cover is mounted to the case and a gear unit is located on the cover. The gear unit includes a first bevel gear and a second bevel gear which is engaged with the first bevel gear which drives the second bevel gear. The second bevel gear is connected to the mandrel which is co-rotatable with the second bevel gear. The coil spring is wrapped to the mandrel and retrieved in the reception box when the blinds are lowered and lifted.
