摘要： Example insulated pliable door panels or curtains include various internal vapor barriers. The vapor barriers have a relatively high water vapor transmission rate that inhibits water vapor from permeating through the door panel. With such vapor barriers, outer sheets of the door panel can be made of polyurethane or other tough materials that might have an inadequate water vapor transmission rate. In some examples, the vapor barrier encircles or encloses a thermally insulating pad. In some examples, the door panel includes a sleeve or pocket that holds the vapor barrier in place. Some examples include means for draining water that might condense within the door panel.

摘要： A door structure is described which includes a door frame having a threshold. The door frame encloses an upper door section and a lower door section. An upper door guide track guides movement of the upper door section between a closed position enclosing the upper portion of the door frame and an open position moved upwardly clear of the door frame. A lower door guide track guides movement of the lower door section between a closed position enclosing the lower portion of the door frame and an open position moved downwardly into the threshold clear of the door frame. The upper door section and the lower door section are independently operable to enable the lower door section to remain in the open position while the upper door section remains in the closed position.

摘要： A window vent stop for use in a sliding sash window assembly or a sliding door assembly. The vent stop has a housing adapted to be disposed in a recess in a non-movable sash member. This housing includes a cavity with a bottom plate therein. A tumbler has at least one pivot for pivotally securing the tumbler to the housing for movement between an extended position, to prevent movement of the sliding sash member and a retracted position, to allow movement of the sliding sash member. Also within the housing is a spring for biasing the tumbler toward the extended position. The tumbler has a first locking member that contacts a second locking member on a release member when the tumbler is in the retracted position and the first locking member does not contact the second locking member when the tumbler is in the extended position.

摘要： Movable partitions and various components for use with movable partitions are disclosed along with related systems and methods. In one embodiment, a track and trolley system for use with a movable partition is described. In one embodiment, the track and trolley system may include a track having three channels wherein a first partition is suspended from the first channel, a second partition is suspended from the second channel, and a trolley is partially disposed in the third channel and between the first and second channels. Seal components may be used to substantially provide a fluid seal between the partitions and a surface from which the partitions are suspended. The trolley is configured to be longitudinally displaceable along the third channel while maintaining its components within an envelope defined by the seal components. In other words, such seal components are not penetrated or otherwise breached by the displaced trolley.

摘要： A safety catch assembly is described in the environment of use of a vertical lift door panel. The preferred safety catch assembly in general includes: first and second brake members; an actuator assembly including a stay mechanism and a release mechanism; and, a biasing mechanism constructed and arranged to move the first and second brake members into braking positions, in response to a defined, selected, catastrophic failure. In general, the stay mechanism operates to maintain the first and second brake members in free or non-brake positions until the defined catastrophic failure occurs; and, the release mechanism operates to release the first and second brake members for movement into the braking positions, upon the defined catastrophic failure of the lift mechanism.

摘要： The present invention is generally a movable barrier assembly that includes a screen garage door that may be remotely operated to open and close an entry to a garage, thereby facilitating ventilation, and preventing debris such as leaves, insects, etc. from entering the garage. In an exemplary embodiment, a screen assembly includes a first track running substantially parallel to a second track on which a garage door travels. A movable barrier operator that actuates the garage door and screen door may include a first motor to operate the screen door, and a second motor to operate the garage door. In exemplary embodiments, a single control unit is configured to operate both motors and thus operate each movable barrier.
