    摘要: A vessel (1) includes a spud (10), a spud lifting device (20) and a plurality of spud guiders (30). The spud guiders (30) are arranged to hold the spud (10) in a substantial vertical orientation and guide the spud (10) when moving in a substantial vertical direction between a lower position in which it can engage with a water bottom and an upper position. The spud lifting device (20) is arranged to lift the spud (10) from the lower position to the upper position. The vessel (1) further includes a spud position detector (40) to detect passage of the lower end (11) of the spud (10) along one or more spud detection points at predetermined heights.

At least one of the number of spuds (7) is a divisible spud including a plurality of spud sections (8) coupled end to end in series.

    摘要: A dredge propulsion system mounted on the same boom as the cutter head. The propulsion system has one or more augers which can be operated individually to maneuver the dredge. In the preferred embodiment a pair of augers are mounted parallel to one another on a subframe which is connected to the boom of the cutter head. The subframe comprises a first member pivotally attached to the boom. Each auger is carried by a three bar linkage mounted to the first member.

The legs have effective longitudinal axes that diverge from one another by an angle of no more than 180.degree.. A bucket wheel is suspended from the pontoon by a dredge ladder.     摘要: Salt mushroom cutting apparatus for removing salt mushrooms from a water body, comprises a vessel floatable on the water body, and a helical cutter carried by the vessel forwardly of its bow and extending transversely thereof for pulverizing the salt bodies as the vessel is propelled forwardly through the water body. The helical cutter is wider than the vessel and includes a drum rotated about its longitudinal axis, and a helical array of cutter tips projecting from the outer surface of the drum. The propelling means includes at least one pair of spuds on the opposite sides of the vessel, a vertical drive for lowering the spuds into the water bed, and a horizontal drive for driving the vessel forwardly with respect to the spuds when anchored in the water bed.

    摘要: An improved method for dredging by means of a pair of spuds provided on the respective sides of the stern of a dredger and adapted to be alternately driven into the bottom of the water, a ladder projected from the bow portion of the dredger and a suction port member that is mounted at the extreme end portion of the ladder. The improvements are in the repetitive cycles of operation, each consisting of the steps of at first dredging while the suction port member is successively retracted from the foremost position of its stroke to the rearmost position as the ladder is swinging from one side towards the other about the spud on the other side, then driving the spud on the one side and retracting of the spud on the other side, advancing the suction port member to the middle position in its stroke, thereafter dredging as the ladder is swinging towards the one side, then advancing the suction port member to the foremost position of its stroke, and thereafter again dredging as the ladder is swinging from one side towards the other side. Preferable structures of a dredging apparatus to be used in the above method are also disclosed.
