    摘要: A temporary bridge includes bridge elements intended to be superimposed when the bridge is in a non-deployed position. The bridge elements are articulated one relative to another. Each bridge element includes, on at least at one of its ends, a coupling face configured to cooperate with the coupling face of another bridge element so as to assemble these bridge elements when they are placed in an end to end relation. The temporary bridge includes displacement members for each bridge element, superimposed on another bridge element in a first position, called a non deployed one, between this first position and a second position, called a deployed one, where the coupling faces of the bridge element and of the another bridge element are placed facing one another and coupled. Added or not rolling track can be included.

    摘要: A temporary bridge includes two spans, each including at least three bridge elements to be stacked when the bridge is in a first so-called non-deployed position. The bridge elements are pivotably connected to one another, wherein two consecutive bridge elements are connected to one another by at least two linking arms mounted on the same side edge of the bridge elements. Two consecutive linking arms form a regular parallelogram with the two consecutive bridge elements connected by the arms, which can be deformed such that the movement of one bridge element relative to a bridge element immediately below in the stack of a span in the non-deployed position of the bridge causes the circular translation of the bridge element relative to the bridge element of the span immediately below. For at least one of the spans, at least one of the linking arms is shared by three consecutive bridge elements.

    摘要: A deployable truss that extends and retracts in a stable and synchronous manner, and can deploy integral folding panels. Primary orthogonal joints, each consisting of two hinged halves, connect rotationally to the truss diagonals with an angled fitting. The main hinge pin of the orthogonal joints remains orthogonal to the truss longitudinal axis and remains centered in the folding truss diagonals. Hinge pins of each truss joint are connected by center-folding chords which cause the truss joints of adjacent bays to remain parallel to each other. Folding diagonals connected to the primary joint halves are hinged together, permitting the diagonals on each side of the truss to remain parallel to each as they form the short sides of a rectangular truss. The truss may deploy z-folded panels with active surfaces such as photovoltaic, reflective, heat-radiating, LCD/plasma, or radar; or structural floor panels for folding work platforms, bridges, and walkways.

    摘要: Various types of extendable support structures provide a lateral dimension that is defined by at least one lazy tong, and the longitudinal dimension is variable by extension and retraction of the at least one lazy tong. The extendable structure may include a plurality of adjacent and attached lazy tongs that are capable of supporting a significant load through the interconnection of the adjacent lazy tongs forming the structure. The extendable structure may be fully retracted to minimize the longitudinal dimension and thereby provide a compact structure, such as one that can be easily transported or stored. The extendable structure may be extended to a length as required for a particular purpose and limited to a maximum longitudinal dimension when the structure is being used to support a load. As such the various types of extendable support structures may be used in many scenarios, such as for providing a loading ramp, bridge, walkway, or working surface.

    摘要: A bridge is provided with at least five segments connected in series. Each segment includes two opposed ends. The ends of adjacent segments are in pivoting connection with respect to each other. The bridge also comprises a plurality of cables. For each end of each segment, at least one cable extends between the end of the segment and at least one end of at least one other segment. The cables have sufficient sizes, such that when the segments are pivoted to an orientation which forms an upwardly bowed arch, each of the cables extends in a substantially straight line between the ends of the segments. In addition, the segments on the ends of the bridge may be pivoted toward each other to provide slack in the cables, which enables the segments to pivot with respect to each other to form a compact configuration.

The width of the bridge can be continuously adjusted with telescoping pipes ( 2 ).     摘要: The bridge includes a plurality of foldable portions or modules (M) interconnectible releasably in sequence longitudinally. Each module (M) includes a central deck member (9) and two lateral deck members (10, 11) articulated to opposite sides of the central deck member (9). A flexible, releasable tension member secures the component elements in endto-end contact and, upon release of the tension member, permits the elements to be collapsed. The cores have oppositely, longitudinally spaced front faces and they are longitudinally shiftable relative to the component elements.
