摘要： Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter for determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive electrical signal from the appliance.

A controller is configured to determine that the water supply valve is open to permit the flow of water into the chamber, identify an anticipated fog condition within the chamber based at least in part on the water supply valve being open, obtaining one or more images of the chamber using the camera assembly, analyzing the one or more images of the chamber to determine an actual fog condition in the chamber, and implementing a responsive action if the actual fog condition is different than the anticipated fog condition, e.g., providing a user notification.

The washing machine comprises a rotatable drum, a soap/laundry dispenser, a water supply flow valve, an ozone generator and a control panel for controlling operation of the rotatable drum, the soap/laundry dispenser, the water supply flow valve, and the ozone generator. The laundry/garment treatment system comprises a source of an additive/treating composition to be added a washing machine without any laundry/garments contained therein, and the source of the additive/treating composition is connected to the washing machine to supply a quantity of additive/treating composition thereto for mixing with water and formation of a treatment mixture. A circulating pump is connected to the washing machine for pumping the treatment mixture into a treatment holding tank. A mixture feed valve controls the flow of treatment mixture from the treatment holding tank back into the washing machine for treating the laundry/garments, following washing thereof.

摘要： A method controls a washing machine including a drum rotatably provided in a tub that receives water, at least one nozzle spraying water into the drum, a washing motor rotating the drum, and a circulation pump circulating water within the washing machine. The method includes: controlling a rotation of the drum by operating the washing motor to rotate the drum at a first rotation speed in a first rotation direction, and to maintain a rotation of the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction so that laundry in the drum maintains contact with an inner circumferential surface of the drum; and controlling a pump speed of the circulation pump by operating a circulation pump motor in the circulation pump to accelerate and decelerate at least once while the washing motor rotates the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a drain pump driving apparatus and a laundry treatment machine including the same. A drain pump driving apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure and a laundry treatment machine including the same include: an inverter converting a direct current (DC) voltage from a converter into an alternating current (AC) voltage based on a switching operation and to output the converted AC voltage to a drain motor; and a controller to control the motor to, when a drain channel in a drain pump is clogged, be temporarily stopped in a period during which a speed of the motor increases and then to repeatedly rotate and stop in a first direction the same as a start-up direction, and to repeatedly rotate and stop in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the drain channel is clogged even after the motor repeatedly rotates and stops in the first direction. Accordingly, when impurities are introduced into the drain pump, the impurities can be removed in a simple manner.

The controller is in operative communication with the pump and the motor and may direct a primary spin and drain cycle, which includes an initial drain of the tub prior to a first spin cycle. The controller may further receive a supplemental spin and drain cycle request, identify a drain omission condition of the washing machine appliance, and perform a spin and drain cycle without the initial drain of the tub following identifying the drain omission condition of the washing machine appliance. A method of directing a washing machine appliance to perform supplemental spin and drain cycles is also disclosed.

The modification system provides improved cleaning performance and effective cleaning even in low water conditions.
