    摘要: A sewing machine is provided with an X-correction value input unit that corrects, in an X-direction, seam position with respect to a position of an opening, e.g., a circular hole, formed in a workpiece cloth by an opening forming mechanism, and an X-direction seam data correction unit that corrects seam data based on an X correction value inputted from the X-correction value input unit. The sewing machine can also be provided with an Y-correction input unit and a Y-direction seam data correction unit for correcting Y-direction information in the seam data. With the seam data corrected by the seam data correction units, a seam position can be corrected with respect to the position of the opening formed by the opening forming mechanism. The sewing machine is also provided with a stitch width correction input unit that is used for inputting a correction value of a stitch width of the seam, and a seam data correction unit that corrects the seam data based on the stitch width of the seam input by the stitch width correction input unit. The stitch width changes when the seam is stitched with the corrected seam data.

    摘要: A buttonhole sewing machine for automatically forming a buttonhole including right and left parallel side stitching parts, and another stitching part connected to the side stitching parts. The machine has a switch for detecting front and rear ends of each side stitching part, and is capable of sewing the buttonhole in divided parts on opposite sides of a longitudinal centerline thereof so that the two side stitching parts are stitched in the same work feeding direction. The machine comprises a control circuit generating a feed change signal when the number of stitches being formed in one of the side stitching parts has become equal the total number of stitches of the other side stitching part less a predetermined number, and a feed adjusting circuit for reducing a work feeding increment for a time interval between generation of the change signal and a signal from the switch, to avoid a difference in length between the side stitching parts. The machine is also capable of sewing a buttonhole including a circular stitching part contiguous to the side stitching parts, such that one half of the circular stitching parts is sewn immediately after formation of at least one stitch in the other half of the circular stitching part for avoiding a gap between the two halves.

    摘要: The present invention is an improved electronic type sewing machine in which a microcomputer integrated circuit arrangement, such as a master/slave microprocessor configuration, is employed to effectuate stitch position coordinate servo control for both bight and feed through digitally closing the position servo control loop. The sewing machine includes actuator means for adjusting the transverse position of the needle bar means and the positional displacement of the feed means in response to control signals provided thereto and static memory means, such as a read-only-memory, for retrievably storing a plurality of different predetermined stitch patterns each having associated retrievably stored bight and feed data corresponding to predetermined positional coordinates of the needle bar and feed means for defining associated stitch position coordinates for the stitches comprising the stitch patterns. The microcomputer arrangement is connected to the actuator which it controls as well as to the static memory containing the requisite data. A transducer arrangement is connected between the actuator controlled and the digital input of the microcomputer for providing a digital input signal to the microcomputer representative of the actual position of the actuator. Where the master/slave microprocessor configuration is employed, the slave microprocessor is employed to close the position servo control loop and the master microprocessor is employed to process the stitch position coordinate data and provide the desired digital position input to the slave microprocessor for digital position error comparison with the actual digital position input.
