Abstract: A beverage dispense system configured to automatically mix a beverage in response to a user input. The beverage dispense system including a liquid container, a gas container, a regulator, a flavoring container, and a beverage container selectively in fluid communication with the liquid container, the gas container, and the flavoring container that is configured to mix liquid, gas, and flavoring respectively from the liquid container, gas container, and flavoring container into the beverage. The beverage dispense system further including a controller that is configured to automatically control flow of the liquid, the gas, and the flavoring to the beverage container in response to the user input and an outlet configured to selectively dispense the beverage. The regulator is configured to regulate the gas from the gas container to each of the liquid container, the flavoring container, and the beverage container at the pressure.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a protective housing for carrying a rigid vessel. In use, the vessel will contain liquid. The housing comprises a casing. The casing includes a peripheral wall, a base and a top. The base and top are connected to the peripheral wall to define a volume for containing the vessel. The protective housing further comprises an impact absorber. The impact absorber is disposed, in use, between the vessel and casing to reduce transferral, to the vessel, of a force applied to the casing. There is also an aperture in the casing for accessing a closure section of the vessel while the vessel is in the protective housing.

Also, the present invention is directed to a method for preparing a beverage product using the beverage preparation device according to the invention.

Abstract: Systems and devices for cooling and dispensing a beverage fluid are disclosed herein. One beverage dispensing system includes a beverage tower comprising a tower body, a shank, and a faucet. In some implementations, a coolant line is routed proximal to a beverage supply line through the tower body, through the shank, and into the faucet. In these and other implementations, the faucet includes a removable nozzle having a supplemental portion of the coolant line. In these and still other implementations, the faucet include a removable nozzle having a second coolant line. The coolant line and the second coolant line are configured to transport a coolant medium proximal to a beverage fluid in the beverage supply line to maintain or adjust the temperature of the beverage fluid. Abstract: A valve for dispensing a liquid includes a housing, an internal liquid passage extending through the housing, a valve seat, a valve member movable between a closed position engaging the valve seat and an open position disengaging the valve seat, and a control member controlling movement of the valve member, which is movable between a first position in which it engages the valve member in its closed position, a second position in which the valve member is in its open position but still engaging the control member and a third position in which the valve member is in its open position and out of engagement with the control member. At least one air passage connects the outside of the valve with the internal liquid passage. The at least one air passage is closed in the first and second positions of the control member and is opened in the third position.

Abstract: A beverage machine includes a valve that receives a base fluid and dispenses a mixed beverage comprising the base fluid and an additive fluid. The valve has a bore through which the base fluid flows, and the bore has a perimetral surface that defines a plurality of ports through which the additive fluid is injected to thereby mix with the base fluid.
