Abstract: An elevator arrangement includes a car, an elevator control having car position current information, a plurality of fixtures, at least one sound generator at one of the car and each of the fixtures, and at least one sound detector at the other of the car and each of the fixtures. A fixture position learning procedure includes: travelling the car to and, preferably, stopping at each of the floors; at each floor stop, generating a sound signal from the sound generator at the car or the fixture at the floor stop, detecting the sound signal using the sound detector, determining a position information for the fixture at the floor stop by assigning information on a current position of the car from the elevator control, and storing the position information for subsequent identification purposes, whereby the identity/position of each of the fixtures is determined in the automatically performed learning procedure.

Abstract: An elevator car can be moved in service mode by a control unit in the interior of the car. The control unit can be accommodated behind a part, which is removable, pivotable out or displaceable, in the ceiling or light in the car, or behind a wall part, which is removable, pivotable open or displaceable, of the car. The control unit can hang at a cable and be removable from a storage niche to be actuable from any location in the interior of the car. The control unit can be a wireless transmitter which co-operates with a wireless interface at the car. Since car is movable, controlled from the interior, to any desired point of the travel path and can be stopped at any desired point all maintenance operations can be performed from the car.

Abstract: In a maintenance driving control apparatus of an elevator, switches and other components operated at the time of maintenance are separated from a control panel and combined in a driving operation panel. Abstract: An apparatus for providing an antibacterial film according to an embodiment of the present disclosure makes it possible to place an antibacterial film over a button on a manipulation panel through an antibacterial film providing unit and an antibacterial film recovery unit, thereby preventing the spread of bacteria that may be transmitted by many users' button manipulation. Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed herein provide a car operation panel for commanding travel of an elevator car from a boarding landing to a destination landing during normal operation of an elevator system. Abstract: A germicidal device for elevator buttons includes a casing and a lamp tube installed inside the casing and capable of emitting germicidal light. The casing can be fixedly mounted on an elevator control panel for the germicidal light emitted from the lamp tube to project onto all elevator buttons on the elevator control panel, so as to continuously kill any germs on the elevator buttons. Abstract: A modular elevator control housing with an easily accessibly interior is disclosed. The housing comprises a generally rectangular, elongated casing that is conveniently placed on a wall adjacent to an elevator. The housing protectively encloses elevator operational controls. The housing may replace an existing control housing, mounting over the existing elevator outlet and using existing holes. Alternatively, the housing may be originally installed during building construction. The housing comprises a chassis covered by a display. The chassis comprises a subframe that secures the housing to the wall and a top and bottom cover. The subframe comprises a base bounded by integral, projecting side flanges. Chassis sidewalls are secured to the subframe sides. The inner surfaces of the sidewalls define multiple, parallel channels. Two of the channels seat fasteners to secure the top and bottom covers to the sidewalls. One of the channels captivates fasteners that secure the sidewalls to the subframe. The remaining, sliding channel receives the display components. Interior brackets secured to the subframe cooperate with the sliding channel to support the display in a desired configuration. The display comprises faceplates separated by mating clips. Faceplate numbers may be varied during installation. Mating clips join abutting plates. The interior of the housing may be easily serviced by selectively removing the top or bottom cover and sliding out the faceplates.
