Abstract:
A conveying device for free-flowing fine-particle solids, in particular for powdery and/or granular (mixed) material, especially plastic granulate, includes a vertically arranged and flexibly mountable telescopic pipe for the conveyance of, preferably, polymer granulates, for example in a plant for the filling of polymer granulates.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is provided for the automated discharge of treated sewage sludge to trucks, via inventory management by tracking the flow of sludge from bins in which it is located to trucks, on a first-in/first-out basis, including automated truck positioning, automated precision truck loading and monitoring and controlling the various interrelated components via a PLC computer program.
Abstract:
A method for the filling and optionally emptying transport containers with plastics granular materials is disclosed. A flexible plastics inliner is inserted into a transport container. A front side of the inliner includes at least one receiving flexible hose connection for filling the inliner with plastics granular material, at least one discharge hose connection for discharging blown in conveying air from the inliner, and at least one emptying hose connection for emptying plastics granular material from the inliner. The front side of the inliner also includes a protective liner. The cabin and the transport container are positioned at a decanting station, the cabin being adapted to transfer plastics granular material from the decanting station and decant the transferred plastics granular material into the transport container through the receiving hose connection. The transport container is then filled with plastics granular material utilizing the cabin.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system of using at least one moving means (22) for the pushing and moving solid waste (20) from at least one holding area (10) within buildings or outdoors through a waste transport conduit (14) to at least one collection station (28) or at least one collection conduit (26). The movement of the at least one moving means (22) is driven by generating differential pressure across the at least one moving means (22) to push and move the solid waste (20) towards the at least one collection station (28) or at least one collection conduit (26). The differential pressure creates systematic directional air movement inside the waste transport conduit (14) to move the at least one moving means (22) to move and push the solid waste (20) to the at least one collection station (28) or at least one collection conduit (26). The differential pressure is delivered by controlling a system of valves (30) that is connected to at least one higher pressure air conduit (32) and at least one lower pressure air conduit (34) or removes air to or from the waste transport conduit respectively. Both the at least one higher pressure air conduit (32) and at least one lower pressure air conduit (34) is connected to air handling apparatus.
Abstract:
A method for loading a dumper with broken rock or the like and an apparatus for implementing the method. In the method, a loading area is defined for the dumper. The dumper is stopped at the loading area at a predefined position for loading. An emptying area is correspondingly defined in advance for a loader for transporting the material in its bucket onto the dumper box. The apparatus includes a controller for controlling the dumper at least during loading, and the controller includes means for stopping the dumper for loading at the predefined position so that the material transported by the loader can be emptied onto the dumper box in a predefined location in the longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
An apparatus for transporting and filling a freight container, such as an ISO standard intermodal container, with grain or other crop at the point of harvest. The apparatus includes a chassis adapted to support the freight container and a hopper for receiving grain from a harvesting machine. A conveyor moves the grain from the hopper and into the container. The apparatus is pulled by a tractor or can be a self propelled vehicle to move the container through a field to the harvester to receive grain and fill the container while the harvester continues to move through the field harvesting grain.

Abstract:
A train loading system for loading material onto cars of a train is disclosed. The system comprises a material bin arranged to receive material to be loaded onto the train, a closure device arranged to facilitate control by an operator of the amount of material loaded into each car from the material bin, and a car mass estimator arranged to estimate the mass of material loaded into each car. The system also comprises a display arranged to communicate to the operator the estimated mass of material loaded into each car. A corresponding method is also disclosed.
