    摘要: The hubless wheel system includes an inner ring assembly having a main stationary ring and a plurality of inner ring mounting brackets positioned within the main stationary ring, a first bearing and a second bearing mounted onto the main stationary ring, a side plate positioned in communicating relation with the second bearing, a middle ring assembly mounted onto the bearings of the inner ring assembly, and an outer ring mounted on the middle ring assembly. The middle ring assembly has a middle ring and a brake disc positioned in communicating relation with the middle ring. The outer ring has an inner portion and a plurality of outer ring mounting brackets positioned on the inner portion of the outer ring, and a bracket assembly positioned within the main stationary ring. The hubless wheel system can include a drive assembly, a step-lock assembly, a side wheel assembly, and a suspension assembly.

    摘要: A steering and suspension mechanism for a motorbike, scooter, bicycle, skateboard or other two wheeled, in-line, vehicle, incorporating a steering axis rake that is inclined to the vertical, in a direction that is upwards and forwards from the ground in the normal direction of travel, together with a trailing radial arm suspension, in combination. Steering may be effected via a push rod attached to the handlebars, which in turn pivot on the main chassis. A brake calliper may be pivoted on the wheel axle, with a link to the steering head assembly to prevent rotation of the calliper with the brake disc under braking. This link may be parallel or nearly parallel to the radial arm. The exact angle can be chosen to control ‘dive’ due to weight shift under braking.

    摘要: A vehicle has a chassis with a front and rear ends and at least one front wheel mounted on the front end. A one-sided swing arm having an outer end portion, a support portion including a strut assembly, and an inner end portion is pivotally mounted on the rear end of the chassis. A wheel mounting assembly is disposed on the outer end portion of the swing arm, and a rear wheel which is interchangeable with the front wheel is mounted thereon. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes steering means for pivoting the front wheel about a first vertical axis to control the direction of movement of the vehicle, and a hub and pivot means mounting the hub on the outer end of the swing arm for pivotal movement of the rear wheel about a second vertical axis. The rear wheel is rotatably supported on the hub and naturally tracks the front wheel in a cooperating turning arc.

A driving motor is connected as a unit to a framework, the framework being made up of a number of tubular members forming two trapezium structures. The wheels are connected to the motor-framework unit by further members, as well as dampening devices. A transmission between the driving motor and both of the front and rear wheels is also provided. A steering assembly is connected to the front steering wheel and the framework. A strut, which may be part of the transmission, is adjustably connected between the motor-framework unit and the steering assembly. Furthermore, the vehicle can adjust the castor angle of the front wheel.
