Abstract:
A female buckling component for a magnetic buckling assembly. A female locking portion comprises at least one resilient arm and at least one engaging head integrally formed with the at least one resilient arm. The at least one resilient arm drives the at least one engaging head to move when the at least one resilient arm is resiliently deformed. The female buckling component also comprises an installation chamber inside a middle portion of the female buckling component, a female magnetic component installed in the installation chamber, and at least one operating component movably disposed on the female buckling component and coupled to the at least one resilient arm of the female locking portion to resiliently deform the at least one resilient arm and thereby move the at least one engaging head.
Abstract:
A supportive cushion and restraint for an infant or young child in a shopping cart seat which includes an upper cushioned body that provides torso and back support by including a rigid plastic sheet insert located posterior and parallel to compressed polyester padding; and is hinged at a horizontal seam to a lower cushioned body (the seat portion), which encloses compressed polyester padding; a wide belt that secures by hook and loop type fasteners and extends from the upper cushioned body, wrapping forward around the torso, securing the child in place and adjusting to most girths; the upper and lower cushioned bodies are enclosed in the same durable fabric as the wide belt; two pairs of heavy duty strap-and-buckle units extend from the upper cushioned body, providing the means to secure the upper cushioned body to the shopping cart basket, and ensuring proper support and comfortable restraint of the child.
Abstract:
A shopping cart liner includes a body configured to nest in the child seat portion of a shopping cart. The body may define one or more openings positioned to enable the feet of a child seated in the shopping cart to protrude through the body, and the shopping cart liner includes a track at least partially embedded in a portion of the shopping cart liner. A clip is slidingly engaged with the track, and defines an opening for attaching an item to the shopping cart liner. An item such as a toy, teething ring, pacifier, or other item may be attached. The body may be padded, and, and may include one or more pockets. The shopping cart liner may include a seat belt for securing a child to the shopping cart liner, and may be used in combination with a pillow.
Abstract:
A versatile cover is described which can be secured onto a shopping cart, high chair, stroller or other similar seating apparatus. The cover is rollable into a low profile, shape with a handle, and can be unrolled to fit within a seat basket of a shopping cart or high chair.
Abstract:
A child restraint system (1) having a mounting clip (2) positioned over an upper crossbar (12) and vertical bars (19) of a shopping cart seat (14) back support (13). The mounting clip is centered on the back support so that it rests directly behind a child when seated in the shopping cart. A belt (16) extends from sides of the mounting clip and wraps around the child's torso encircling the child preferably above the abdomen. This keeps the child in an upright position and prevents the child from leaning to the front or to the side, thereby reducing any risk of injury.
Abstract:
A child-restraining safety seat assembly includes a safety seat with a body defining a secured seating area sized to securely hold a child or smaller-than-average adult human and a fixed-shape rotatable restraining member mechanically coupled to the body and having an open position where the seating area is unobstructed and a closed position where the seating area is obstructed by the restraining member. The body can include a back support member and a seat member, each with an inner surface portion at least partially defining the secured seating area. The restraining member can further include an upper body restraining member disposed in an overlapping configuration with the inner surface portion of the back support member.
Abstract:
A child seat includes a seat shell, and an anchoring system assembled with the seat shell. The anchoring system includes a housing, a latch assembled in the housing, a first and a second strap respectively routed through the housing, and two anchor fasteners respectively secured with the first and second straps at a rear of the seat shell. The housing has a central axis, and a first and a second opening spaced apart from each other along the central axis. The latch is movable along the central axis relative to the housing, and has two clamping surfaces facing two inner surfaces of the housing. The latch is operable to clamp the first and second straps respectively between the two inner surfaces and the two clamping surfaces. The first and second straps extend outside the seat shell at the rear, and also at two opposite lateral sides of the seat shell.

Abstract:
A portable child-carrying shopping cart having a collapsible cart basket. The cart has a seat for two small children and seat belts for keeping children safely seated side-by-side. An extendable snack tray provides children with access to their own snacks and beverages, so that a parent does not have to maintain constant control of these items. Below the seat is an interior cavity with a coat hook and a space for storing bags, purses, and garments. On the opposing side of the body of the device, a cart basket is secured. The cart basket is expandable and collapsible. The device can be easily stowed when the basket is collapsed against the body. It can also be quickly expanded for use as a shopping cart when a parent is running errands.
Abstract:
Apparatus for securing a child safely in a cart seat. A seat belt has a connected attachment belt which is used to attach the apparatus to the rear bars of a cart seat. A position strap, which is attached to the attachment belt, extends around the top of the cart seat to restrict the vertical displacement of the seat belt and belted child with respect to the seat cart. A second embodiment provides a planar display located at the rear of the cart seat as part of the apparatus.
