A second driving member is fixed to the shaft so that a second protrusion on the second driving member drives a first protrusion on the first driving member to move the clamping member relative to the threaded rod.

    摘要: A PDA device is used to record the ID of a vehicle boot RFID tag and to transmit to the tag and to a host entity violation data such as summons number, license number, time and date stamp, issuing person ID, location of the vehicle, scofflaw data and so on. This data may be entered into the PDA electronically via a communication network such as the internet or LAN system or manually via a keyboard. The host entity has a data base which is uploaded with this information and has correlation of RFID tag numbers to an unlock combination number for each boot. When the boot is attached to a vehicle this PDA data is transmitted to the host entity whose contact telephone number is attached to the vehicle being booted. The driver contacts the entity to pay the fine and receive in return the unlock combination. The driver thus can release and remove the boot within minutes of returning to the vehicle and can return the boot at his leisure.

The security device has a pair of arms for releasably engaging with a wheel and a locking assembly attached to or disposed between the arms. The locking assembly may include a static portion disposed on one of the arms and an actuatable portion disposed on the other arm. The actuatable portion is receivable within the static portion. The static portion may include one or more rack plates each having a plurality of tabs, with the rack plates being disposed in an opposite and spaced relationship, such that the actuatable portion is receivable therebetween. The actuatable portion may include a rotatable cam having a pair of oppositely disposed arms. The actuatable portion is positionable in a secured position in which the arms are respectively engaged with tabs of the rack plates, and an opened position in which the arms are disengaged from the rack plates.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wheel locking device for vehicles which prevents an unauthorized movement of the vehicle. The wheel locking device for vehicles comprises a supporting disk 10 attached to an outer side surface a wheel 3 and provided with arms 15, fixtures 20 inserted into the arms so as to surround a circumferential surface of the wheel 3, clamping pins 30 for fixing the fixtures 20, a guard disk 35 for surrounding an outer side surface of the supporting disk 10 so as to cover the clamping pins 30, a clamping bolt 40 for holding the guard disk 35 and the supporting disk 10 together, a lock 45 for locking the clamping bolt 40. The wheel locking device is easily assembled and attached to the wheel, and is effectively protected from an unauthorized separation from the wheel. Further, the locations of the fixtures are adjusted according to the size of the wheel of the vehicle or the fixture has a folding-type structure easily fixed to the wheel without interfering with the frame of the vehicle, thereby being firmly secured to the wheel.

    摘要: A locking assembly is being used on a trailer and is installed on at least one wheel. The locking assembly consists of two locking bars that have U-shaped ends at an outer end and straight sections at an inner end. Each of the inner ends have a multiple of bores there through. When installed, the inner ends of the locking bars are received in a receiver box, which is attached to a cylindrical hub, in an overlapping relationship whereby any of the bores will align with each other. A locking pin is passed through the bores once the locking bars are in place and once the U-shaped ends are placed around a tire and properly matched with its size.

    摘要: The portable wheel immobilizing device is comprised of two parallel covers which are attached together to angularly rotate in opposite directions about an axis perpendicular to both covers. A pair of parallel arms is attached to each cover. The arm pairs intersect at the aforesaid axis and each arm pair rotates with its cover around the aforesaid axis between a position in which all the arms are parallel to each other to a position in which the arm pairs are angularly disposed to be substantially perpendicular to each other but in which the arms in a pair remain parallel. The arms in a pair are movable in opposite directions between a length in which their combined span is at a minimum to allow compact storage of the device to a length in which their combined span is at a maximum to allow the arms to engage the outside periphery of the wheel to allow the arms to surround the wheel. One arm in each pair has an end shaped to fit around the outside of the wheel while the other arm in the pair has both an end shaped to engage the outside periphery of the wheel and an end designed to act as a chalk to immobilize the wheel upon insertion between the wheel and the ground. The arm pairs are coupled to a rotary member which is coaxial with their axis of rotation and which simultaneously rotates both pairs of arms between their minimum and maximum length.

    摘要: A vehicle detention device provides a pair of stopper blocks, where one of the stopper blocks moves on a guide shaft relative to the other stopper block secured to the guide shaft. A locking device is provided in order to prevent the movable stopper block from shifting away from a tire so that both the stationary and movable stopper blocks remain in contact with the tire at both sides of ground contact point to prevent rotation of the wheel with the tire mounted thereon. Using a pair of chains, the wheel is secured and placed under detention with the stopper blocks closely held in contact with the tire. Since the mechanical components necessary for releasing the tire and wheel are fully concealed by a key-actuated cover unit, no one can readily remove the vehicle detention device from the restrained vehicle without operating a proper key, thus securely detaining the vehicle.
